Endgame EPIC Soundtrack of Avengers Endgame (Alan Silvestri)

It reminded me of his Cast Away soundtrack, especially when Stark was stranded in space.

He really delivered when it counted most. The score is so good during that crucial scene.

Aside from Cap's theme did any other musical cues from past movies make it?

Listen to it daily since release. Absolutely love it.

I heard at least two returning hero themes other than Cap and according to the credits there was a third one too.
Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel.

He re-used many themes from the first Avengers too. The theme that plays when
Strange signals "1" to Tony and he realises he must do the snap himself is the same theme when Tony flies through the wormhole in Avengers to sacrifice himself. It all came full circle.

  • The Vormir "Even For You" score didn't really get to me in IW, but it really hurts in Endgame given Clint and Nat actually loved each other :csad:
  • A few seconds of Natasha's theme from Avengers 1 plays when everyone returns from the past and notices that Nat is missing.

I loved how he took his Avenger's theme and cranked it to 11 with
"Portals".

I know it's for the composer to state how they feel about their music but personally I feel what we got in Endgame should be considered his fully realized Avenger's theme. That slow buildup into that next intense piece that rolls right into the main theme. I've been listening to it constantly.

To me that other theme from Portal is now the music I hear when I think about the MCU as a whole. I wonder if that theme was anywhere in IW and we just didn't notice it. IW soundtrack has such a break neck pace to it just like the movie itself.

From Avengers 1 soundtrack the best are tunnel chase, I got a ride, Assemble, A promise and The Avengers. I heard all of those in this new soundtrack and that made me happy because the themes are so powerful and epic. Really makes you feel like you are watching an epic Superhero film.

There are elements of "passage of time" and "this is my choice" from TFA in "Go ahead."

The Infinity stones theme also originated in TFA.

I loved how he brought back that Nordic motif from "Twilight of the Gods" from Thor: Ragnarok. That was my favourite track.
Was that the motif that played when
Thor and Rocket first get to Asgard (ASGARD 2013)
?

That guitar part reminded me of the one in Avengers 1 "a promise" trrack
