What a great episode! The easter eggs, pretty much already listed, were overwhelming. The costume bit had me rolling; 60's version=too campy, B&R version=too icky, DKR version=too psycho. Even though I'd already seen the clip, I had to pause and rewind to make sure I didn't miss the next scene. :D

This was different in tone from Trials of the Demon, Deep Cover for Batman or Game Over for Owlman (either of which I would have cited as my favorite ep) but I don't think anything was more fun and better executed than this. It's tops for me.

The end look on Green Arrow's face is priceless. :funny:

The fanboy convention was the best part. Then the Joker dude saying "Meh." was ther cherry on top of the cake. You could tell Dinni wrote this episode. But it's damn good. Not one of my favorites, but it's good. I"d like to see Dini return to write another one.

It's even better when you realise that the "meh" guy was Bruce Timm, and "Harley" next to him was Paul Dini.

As great as the ep was,not enuf has been said about how awesume Ace was!Not my #1 ep but a close #2 10/10

That's a direct reference to the TNBA episode, Joker's Millions, in which he is holding auditions for a new Harley Quinn, and one of the auditionees is a fat man in a Harley suit.

Also, IM SO GLAD THEY CHANGED THE SHAPE OF CATWOMAN'S FACE FOR THE NEXT EPISODE!!!

She looks like a MAN with BOOBS in this one. Almost.

Yes, and in that episode the joke was ALSO that it was Paul Dini, hence the addition of Bruce Timm as a grumpy Joker saying "meh" next to an ecstatic Dini.

I rather thought of it as a really good episode.
I noticed that the animators are using the old designs back in the 50's or whenever they first was created~ like Riddler and Joker, me and my friend were surprised that Mr. Zero was his real name, we always thought of him as Mr. Freeze.

since the characters real is freis"pronouinced freze the writer felt it'd be a better name for him

I love how 'Mite's convention speech was a big take that at the Bat-fans who are too narrow-minded to enjoy a lighter Batman.

I am SO getting season box-sets of this show :D .

Anybody else notice Batman had a hard time turning his neck in the B&R suit :funny: ?

I was originally hesitant to download this episode due to my disliking Bat-Mite when he was a regular in the 70's Filmation series. However, I decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway since I've enjoyed so many others. To my relief, I was pleased by the overall execution of the storytelling although the chase scene went on 30 seconds too long for my taste. I'm neutral on Ace and I don't mind his inclusion in the series just as long as he isn't used ad nauseum. Dini definitely utilized Bat-Mite to the utmost and I imagined that he would if only because he only paid homage to Bat-Mite in B:TAS. I'm "meh" on the ending but for an episode this good, it's got to be difficult to come up with an ending to please everyone.
