I've been bitten by this Youtube bug and will uplaod another vid, of me trying my bloody best to do a American Accent (And I am American). can't believe the video of me has a earth shattering...mind blowing...gonna change the face of Youtube. ...79 views. (And I've only view it myself 4-5 times)

I used to have a pretty nasty stutter until I started speaking for a living and then I just gradually learned how to think myself out of a stutter, but I still do sometimes.

I'm a cop now, but I used to work in a call center and then I was a... well... I fired people for a living. When I started working customer service on the phones most of my stutter went away but by the time I fired people for a living it was all gone.

Now I can scream "On the ground!" with the best of them.

It certainly wasn't great. The worst part was the travel though. Away from your family for long periods and during that time you're telling other people that they're out of a job.

The pay was excellent. A lot more than what I make now. Nice benefits. Enough frequent flyer miles to travel to a different country every year. And the feeling of having power over people was pretty nice too.

Ummmm...well...when I was younger I just didn't talk a lot or give it my all in speech class. Even if I were to give it my all in speech class during school...I had like 6 different teachers from like 5-17...and I doubt they could ever get rid of my accent. Seriously, I'm trying everyday to sound American, but when I hear myself record I sound like some dude from Romania or Bulgaria or France or the U.K. (Which isn't a bad thing)

And no I'm never taking speech again. I'm sure I will always sound like I'm from overseas and not American. Oh well.

I have only seen your initial video... which video are you speaking in your normal voice? I cannot see it at work but I'll give it a look when I get home.
