Explain Marvel Strength Classes

In the Secret War they were only keeping it from collapsing not holding it up, The Thing was also helping the Hulk.

Your looking at this from the close minded perspective of a mathematicians. Try and see it from a writers perspective (Who regularly ignore the handbooks).

In reality, (Where rules and logic apply) a fighter who could lift 10 x the weight of another fighter, would logically destroy that other fighter.

This rule however, rarely applies to comics. Just because a character has lifted an object weighing 10 x maybe a 1000 times the weightlifting ability of another character, it does not necessarily mean that the fight will be as one sided as it would be in a logical universe.

Take for example Thor and Wonderman. Most would agree that Thor is slightly stronger, but they are comparable in strength. According to your assertion, their lifting ability must be similar, but this contary to the truth. Wondermans struggled to stop a printing press with the strength of 50,000 tons. Thor on the other hand lifted the Midgard Serpent (An object the size of a small planetoid). Ratio in weight difference between the two objects, must be in order of million fold. Yet the two appear evenly matched whenever they fight each other.

There are countless other examples of this .... :)
Except the Midgard Serpent is the exception not the norm. The norm is that the Thing can hold his own against the Hulk for a little while. The norm is that the Hulk is not 10x stronger than the Thing. There are quite a few examples of characters doing stuff beyond their limits, but with stuff like this one should look at the average and not the extreme feats.

IMO, averagely Thor and Hulk are in the million ton barcket ...:)

Thing, Namor, Wonderman, Iron man, are in the Kilo ton bracket. :)

Actually no, there is only a limited amount of traction that you can get regardless of your strength. If the punch is even slightly upward then even that doesn't matter. You go flying no matter what unless you can fly or like the Juggernaut resist the force by other means.

True, but this is another example of creative license. Any superhero who could lift over a ton should be able to sneak up behind the Hulk, lift him up and fling him off into the distance. However, since Hulk is depicted as being so massively strong and huge, this just wouldn't look right, particularly if the character tossing Hulk around was small like Spidey or Rogue.

That's life!

Can God create an unliftable mountain ? :)
Best question ever... I've been thinking about that for days.
He's god so he should be able to do that, but then he should also be able to lift it since, he can do anything, but then he wouldent be able create a un-liftble mountain.
I belive that it's something outsinde of this dimention.

More enigma's please.

its not an enigma if u dont believe in god.

my life is so much simpler than yours :)

women? goooood

drink? goooooooooood.

drugs? gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. (prescription only. of course :) )

joke. i do hate questions like that though. i really just think the only thing that makes questions enigmas is if theyre vague. a God wouldnt be vague. he'd write u an essay as to why he could lift anything but sttill create an unliftable mountain thats unliftable to any other force. he'd give u the size of the forces and the equation that works it out. cmon, he's god, he knows everything -- no need for vagueries.
