Explain Your Name

I don't sign on for a few days, and come back to stories galore. Some interesting stories here, aside from the requisite smartass remarks

Character I came up with. He was a guardian of time. KInda like Jean-Claude in Timecop, but on a supernatural level.

That makes me think of the Dahaka.. from the 2nd Prince of Persia.

Remember the early 90's?
Remember Rocko's Modern Life?
Remember Rocko's friend, Heffer Wolfe?
I do.

Rocko was awesome.. but Doug was always the main one for me.

Leenie is one of my nicknames in real life.

True story.

Ziggy was the name my cousins gave me in NHL Hitz for a team based on our family...I was goalie!

Ah...I see!

Also...There's a hockey player named...Ziggy Palfy!

Marx is an old soccer nickname given to me by former teammates and coaches that has stuck with me.

Wrong. Karl Marx is your idol and you are too embarrassed to admit it on these freedom-loving, capitalistic boards. :o

Yep! That's it! You caught me! I am forever shamed!

SO how about your name Jman?

(and Normy thinks you are smarter than me, and that I don't even come close to your deductive capabilities :o)

You want me to read back through pages of explanations? Geez.

Well, Norm and I were Politico running mates! :cwink:

Mine is a combination of my old screen name Halcyon and copious amounts of drinking.

Mine is named after Philip Marlowe from the detective novels by Raymond Chandler. Made famous by one Humphrey Bogart in the film "The Big Sleep". Although I prefer Elliott Gould's take in Robert Altman's "The Long Goodbye". Good Films!

SupermanBeyond="Better than the Ubermench"

I'm a strong advocate against Government Social Engeneering.

Or, I was thinking about Batman Beyond and Superman.
