Fable 2 info

Fable 3... with spaceships! ;)

gah, lol that'd suck... I seriously hope the games never go out of the realm of "fairy tale" time periods... though a more trippy fairy tale world would be kinda cool... to me though the more modern it becomes, the less "fable like" it becomes.

Yeah, me too. I was apprehensive when I heard there'd be guns in this one, although it worked out pretty well.

Well, [blackout]Theresa herself[/blackout] is from the first game. [blackout]She was the protagonist's sister.[/blackout] Also, [blackout]Oakvale (Wraithmarsh in Fable 2) is where Fable's protagonist grew up[/blackout].

wtf i never clocked on to that at all, does it say anyware in the game? maybe she wants to bring back her brother or somthing. although by i think he turned evil and killed the guildmaster and the heroes guild...

If he turned evil, she wouldn't be alive. IF you chose the dark path at the end of fable one, you kill her.

Ugh, saving up money is this game is taking forever. I'm earning about 11,000 gold every 5 minutes or whatever. I have about 800,000 but *sigh* it just takes forever and I want to be able to buy that mansion when I'm done with the last mission.

is there a bar card match/memory game? i rocked at that in the first... totally made all my money there.

You earn money when you're not playing it, too. If you still don't have enough by the time you beat the game, play something else for a while and come back. Your character'll probably be a multimillionaire if you're getting 11,000 gold every five minutes.

i mean after fable 1. we didnt see the guild of heroes fall. and i remember a few things in fable II saying somthing about a hero killing the guildmaster.

hmmmm... well the jack of hearts hurt the guildsmaster pretty badly (he was in the library on your way to fight jack.... and the attack on the guild could have potentially been the "fall of the guild"

Haha, yea Molyneux has stated that they would never jump far enough ahead to leave the fantasy type world. He stated even tho this one jumped 500 yrs dont expect the rest to have such a drastic time leap.

i'd kinda prefer one to go back in time a lil too.. i kinda liked the peasant world. :(

I don't miss the armor too much, but I wish the game allowed for more customization. More clothes, the ability to change your character's face, more than just two tattoes, etc. At the very least, you should be able to kill people and take their clothes, since there's a lot of clothing in the game that you can't buy.

I wouldnt put it past Lionhead to release some DLC that would feature new clothing, weapons etc..

yeah but you gain money a lot slower while you are offline. In about 24 hours I only make about $150,000 gold. That's pretty slow. If I were actually playing in about an hour I'd have $132,000. So, it's better to leave it on and do something and then just make sure you hit your thumbstick or something every few minutes because if you leave your control idle for to long the game itself will actually go back to the main menu.

I plan on starting an "evil" game when my current one is done. So, what I did was start a game and progressed just far enough to buy some property. Then I cranked up the rent, and I won't go back to that game until my current one is done. Hopefully I'll be able to start out with a rich, evil S.O.B. :word:

I started my evil character and then stopped playing before too long. I'm gonna get back to it eventually, but there's so much other good stuff coming out all the time.

I bearly got halfway through it and I just can't seem to pick it back up for more than 10 minutes at a time.

=/

i was relatively disappointed with how anti-climatic the ending was.
I didn't mind since I was mostly focused on buying the castle afterward. But now that I think about it, it was pretty bland. At least the super-good version where you just get a statue and some renown.
