Fairy Tale Musical + TV Comedy = ABC's 'Galavant'

That got a good laugh out of me, too. But then again, so does every other scene with Chef in it.

I see the ratings weren't great. Guess we'll have to wait and see if it gets DVR'd.

I did love how the Chef was "I'm pretty certain its new", when both Isabella and Galavant were dead certain she always wore it in season 1.

Vinnie Jones singing and dancing will never stop being weird. It is entertaining yet weird.

"If she gets a wrinkle, you'll get a wrinkle... ON YOUR NECK!!!"

I'm really liking this season so far. The music hasn't been as strong as season 1, but the humor is more consistent and I'm enjoying the new plot threads. I really wish this show had better ratings, it's such a fun show and deserves to be seen by more people.

This is one of the underrated series (along with the similarly musical Crazy Ex-girlfriend) that should be kept on the air but are being shafted by a flawed ratings system.

And that is why you don't toss around swords.

Annoyed that the recast Galavant's father. I mean, anyone is a going to be a step down from Anthony Stewart Head.

Still, good episodes (even if Isabella getting out of the marriage seems to be a lot easier than it should've, but eh, the show will be sure to use it). Love the "giants" and "dwarves". Especially how they used camera tricks. And the "dragon". Do like that they are not forgetting where Richard got his sword from. I wondered if that was going to be more important than what they made it out to be. Still liking Gareth and Magdalena together.

"We ate a family of Hobbits" had me laughing.

Can't believe we're already more than halfway through the season.

I loved Galavant giving Sid **** over nearly killing him.

"Catfight!"
"Finally! I've been waiting two seasons for this!"

Even though it was slightly disappointing.

I really do like Gareth and Madelena together. Will be interesting to see what the d'dew does to her.

Provided the show doesn't get cancelled ;) . I mean this whole season has basically been blatantly calling out the cancellation bear.

I really enjoyed seeing Eddie Marsan as death and Reece Shearsmith as Neo.

Nick Frost and Eddie Marsan play dwarfs in those Snow White and The Huntsman movies.

"Though those plot holes we must fill, though I doubt we will"

Always good to place expectations at the start.

It was a satisfying conclusion. I hope it could come back, but I'm not hopeful.

Really did great with the songs tonight.

"It's a good day to die."
"Oh please, this isn't Game of Thrones."

:lmao:

So I guess that answers one question I've had about Sid...

"Shut up Menken"

My favorite part of the little Dicky and little Gareth part.

I was happy that they chose to "end" the tale of Galavant, while teasing where the story could go in the future without really ending on a cliffhanger. Great end to the season/series. I'll be sad to see it go if it is in deed the end. It's a shame this season had lower ratings; it deserves to be on a better time slot—not the Sunday's leading up to the super bowl. Oh well.

They ended their season/series competing against "Grease: Live" so they were screwed no matter what in the ratings.

Finally got to watch the finale and it was a good send off with the potential for another season, however unlikely that is. Then again it was incredibly unlikely they would have made it to a second season, which they promptly skewered in their opening scene of season 2.
