Fake District Attorney from Law and Order running for real President of United States

I've always liked Thompson...I'd consider voting for him. Depends on what his stance is on key issues.

As a Rudy guy, the idea of Frank Thompson running is very scary. The guy has a personality and has few flaws to him. He will easily take Romney's support and probably McCain as well. His conservative domestic values are too likely to swing many of the "National Defense First" members of Rudy's camp to his as well.

nah, Thompson has a personality...and a sense of humor.

Dole was a walking corpse....

Bob Dole beleives that Bob Dole is not a walking corpse. Bob Dole thinks that Bob Dole should run. Actually, Bob Dole just likes to hear Bob Dole talking about Bob Dole. BOB DOLE!

Prepared to Govern!

I'll use the Matt argument on this guy:

Sure he's charismatic, but we don't know how he stands on the issues and he's only got a couple of terms as a Senator under his belt. He's not qualified. Maybe in a few years, after he's more experienced. :oldrazz:

Ha, that's funny. He's definitely got the presence of a president and can speak powerfully, since he's an actor. But I doubt he really has what it takes.

Umm, I think ten years in the senate is a little more than Obama's 3. Though I almost certainly wouldn't vote for Thompson.

I can certainly see how he could be scary. I mean, the guy won Sean Hannity's straw poll with over 50 % of the votes, and then he recieves 13 % of the votes in a national poll, practically over night with 3/4 of the country not knowing who the hell he is. I can certainly see how he could be considered scary to McCain, Giulliani, and Romney.

This isn't Regan, some washed up television actor isn't going to win.

I wouldn't vote for him, either, so at least we can agree on that. ;)

To be perfectly fair, this guy was a lawyer/ political insider years before he became a television actor.
