Is anyone else a fan of fake trailers? I love movie trailers in general, and fake trailers are a genre that has always interested me. This is a thread to post and discuss fake trailers, and what makes for a good trailer in general.

MAD TV's Terminator parody where he goes back in time to protect Jesus. Spot on recreation of the atmosphere of the movies.

This is one of the first fake trailers I remember seeing, and man it's done well. Treats its subject seriously (with a dash of melodrama) for a really gripping short.

I saw this at a film festival last year, really funny parody of action/revenge movies, about a guy who declares war on water after his fiancee drowns.

You guys got any others?

Nice. Like them all. I tend to like the fake trailers that present the movies the total opposite of what the actual movie is, like Scary Mary. :oldrazz:

I love trailers, and also fan-made trailers. This Green Lantern one is amazing!

I remember staring at my computer screen waiting for that to load for hours when it first came out. So cool back in the day.

Hahaha! I saw The Water at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival last year, it was actually the first thing I thought of when I clicked this thread. Awesome short.

I hadn't seen that Terminator one before, that was priceless.
 
The best ever would still have to be Eli Roths Thanksgiving. which begs the question, when he actually gets around to making that movie, will he make a new trailer or just reissue the old one. I actually have a "Thanks Giving" witha bloody knife scewered turkey. gotta love it.

Can't see the GL one but I'm assuming it's the one with Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan. That one is beyond epic.
