Family-friendly comicbook movies

Let's face it, comicbook fans are notorious for wanting everything to be dark. Even I will admit this. With Fantastic Four, a lot of people were upset about how it was handled (IMO it wasn't that well-made of a film), but most agreed that an FF movie should be PG. My question is, what other superhero-related properties would work as more family friendly fare while still being faithful to the source material?
Some of my ideas:
Power Pack
Young Avengers
Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (this would be too awesome to actually happen)
Squirrel Girl (see above)
Runaways
Teen Titans
Superboy
Krypto the superdog
The Flash
Howard the Duck
Usagi Yojimbo

There's a lot more...thoughts?
