The Avengers Fan Made Trailer Thread

I didn't even know this thread existed! Here's one I made yesterday because I kept on hearing the Inception sound every time the trailer played... BWAHHH

^That was pretty well done, D4rkShadowz.

Hey D4rkShawdowz, what program do you use to record the audio. It came out clean, great job.

I just made one myself and I'll post it as soon as Youtube uploads it(which is taking forever!).

Great job, guys! And D4rkShawdowz, I'd like to echo this question:

Hey D4rkShawdowz, what program do you use to record the audio. It came out clean, great job.

I'm basically done with my updated combo trailer, but the dialogue audio is giving me SUCH a hard time (especially in the Black Widow/Banner exchange). Your audio sounds so clean! Were you able to do that with your video editing software, or do you have ProTools or something?

Don't know if posted yet but here's a re-cut version of the second trailer to the Inception trailer score

Yeah, it's the first post on this page.

This isn't a trailer as such, but rather a chronology of every Marvel film to date (yeah, completely different). Anyway, I wanted to make this before the release, just to look back on both the good and bad of everything Marvel. There's probably a better place to post this, but hope you like it all the same:

Oh my god, like 2 years ago when this movie was nothing more than a pipe dream that was actually happening, I used to listen to this song imagining an Avengers trailer set to it. Thank you for making my dream a reality! :woot:

(And some of Joss' footage looks a lot like what I imagined back then too, so yay!)

Nice! Thanks for introducing me to Elbow too! The song you picked reminded me of Hopelessly Stoned and Old Time Religion and off to itunes I went. :woot:
They're great! Other Elbow favorites that have been used in trailers - "Forget Myself" (that's the song that introduced me to them when it was in the Southland Tales trailer), "Leaders of the Free World," "Station Approach," "The Fix," and "One Day Like This."

Glad you enjoyed it. I'd been meaning for a long time to make a solo Iron Man vid with that song but I hadn't come across a video editing program that was simple enough for me to effectively use until recently. And by then The Avengers is what is current so I did the whole team with it instead.

Holy! Tom Hiddleston tweeted my trailer! I wonder how he found it...

Is it possible that he creeps the SuperHeroHype forums?! :oldrazz:

As per the the audio questions, I cut all my trailer sounds in Audacity first and then import them into Adobe Premiere.

I usually get as close as possible, sometimes using the vocoder feature if I have to. Hope this helped :cap:

Whoa! Totally cool! :applaud

Tom and Clark Gregg are really doing well at promoting this film.

This one is awesome, especially when you hear SLJ do the voiceover about the day the Avengers were born.
