So tell us what's the real story Kal-El 8? lol.

The legacy of SUPERMAN - The comics. They tell you the real story of SUPERMAN .

smallville doesn't - of course to fans who have no idea What the real story is will believe smallville is the real story .

I don't know, I've been a Superman fan for many years, and I love Smallville's story. It doesn't make me any less a fan of the Comics. It's just an elseworlds tale, so liberties that are not in line with the comics are ok by me.

It's just like a movie that shall remain nameless. It really botched up some of what makes Superman who he is. It messed up several character aspects of his. And for some reason had made it where Superman did something that is out of character for him that fans of the movie seem to be ok with (Pre-merital sex and child out of wedlock), when they were cursing that they had him do the same thing on Smallville.

It's just being fans of different media. Doesn't mean I hated the other project, but the movies are also elseworld tales, so I was ok with some of the changes because that's how I made peace with some of the more irritating things in my mind.

The comics are their own continuity, as is the movies, as is Smallville. It's all good.

Deknight confirmed Diana will never happen. Black Canary was recently done on WB's Birds of Prey and it sucked. I'm not really interested in seeing that again. They really dont need a female member actually, I mean Aquaman is female enough.

dude BOP last aired in 2002. that's not exactly recent. not to mention the fact they cast Lori Laughlin to play her....

Hee! Nolan would have a cow. But the fans would love it.

Between Welling's divinely magnanimous Man of Steel, and Bale's suave, lady-killer Dark Knight...

*Head asplodes*

LOL Ah vell. What dreams are made of.

The Comics? Ok I'll bite. So what comics story in particular? The one where Kal-L was sent in a Tin Can and rocket to earth to be raised by Two nice Old couple that took care of an overpower young lad? or the One where Krypton was a Planet with advance tech where they couldnt even have sexual relationships and their new born Kal-El was just an embryo and sent to earth in a birth matrix and raised by 2 not so old but aged nice couple where the baby developed his powers in dew time? Or the recent story where baby Kal-El was sent to earth from a doom planet calld Krypton ( and by the way this version had a more human side to them) and found by 2 nice young couple that raise a young boy that developed his powers as he grew up.

so in all that what part is correct?

Now Smallville. What part of Superman LEgacy does Smallville fit in? Well If I remember correctly in the first version Pa and Ma die when Clark is young and he becomes Superman/ Second version we have the Story of Superboy where we meet all the cast of modern age Smallville where Lex is his Friend and Lois comes to town and well 2 many thing to remember/ or the Matrix Version where we see a young Clark learning to deal with the new powers and having his 2 friends Pete and Lana and another that is introduce in the future Kenny Braverman where Calrk was a jock and at the sametime very responsible but unsure of himself where Lana is the only confident of his secret + his parents./ or the recent one where Lex is again his friend and and is verry Smallville like with some changes.

so in all that what part is correct?

where next? please tell me. Yea I know that smallville writers have taken liberty with the show but if DC decides to do a Smallville the Comic how do u think it will pan out? I bet it will end up almost the same as the show. U will need villans and introduce new things to the Superman arc to be able to pull it off. If u think it can be done diffrent then shear with us or just HUSH

How great would that be . . . .

Have Welling go to Starbucks in Metropolis and bump into Bale in a suit as he's leaving. Follow it up with having them say "Excuse me" and "Sorry". Have Bale walk off, and Welling can say something slightly derogatory under his breath.

Then just list Bale as an un named character in the credits, or something like man in coffee shop.

No, that would be OOC for Clark. Clark would hold the door for Bruce, Bruce would walk away rolling his eyes and say "typical boyscout" under his breath - and Clark would *hear* him from inside the shop. LOLOL Now THAT would be funny.

Hah!

House is good. No doubt about that . But it's not The Best show on Tv 24 is .

House is awesome. Hugh Laurie is brilliant in it. Its working it's way towards being my favorite show.

I need to give 24 a shot someday. I've only seen bits and pieces.

{3} Hell Bring in John Freaking Jones / Martian Manhunter

You know, I'm starting to believe that may not happen. If they simply show him in a human disguise for the whole episode, the fans will be disapointed.

If they want to get makeup and prosthetics to transform him into his alien form, that will be expensive. Also add the fact that Gough and Millar don't like to show the DC superheroes in their superhero forms (the costumes). It seems like it may not work to me and they intentionally avoided it for all this time.

Actually, in relation to House, I'm thinking this should happen:

http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242980

From what I've seen she can carry the role strongly and likely more believeably while maintaining a vague visual similarity to who came before her.

Knowing Fox, I dont think House would last as long to keep her in her contract by the time the cameras start rolling for this.

I'm not sure my heart could take it. That would be my DREAM movie casting. Can you just imagine???? It would be so freakin' intense and .. Words fail me.
*thud*

I still think they should adapt the episode of The Animated Series where Superman helps Kyle Rayner become the new Green Lantern and fight Sinestro.

I mean, it would need to be just Clark in this case, but you get my drift. They could even make it a two part episode in mid-season. And even if they didn't want to use Sinestro, the epiose could be about finding the new Green Lantern, in that case more than likely Hal Jordan.

And I've always liked the idea that had Krypton not blown up, Kal-El would have been there Green Lantern, so throw that in there as well.

Yeah....as cool as these guys are, they will never match the awesomeness of Bruce Wayne or Diana Prince coming on the show....

Great news, though.
