Fanboy Orgasm on Smallville??

I don't know, I've been a Superman fan for many years, and I love Smallville's story. It doesn't make me any less a fan of the Comics. It's just an elseworlds tale, so liberties that are not in line with the comics are ok by me.

It's just like a movie that shall remain nameless. It really botched up some of what makes Superman who he is. It messed up several character aspects of his. And for some reason had made it where Superman did something that is out of character for him that fans of the movie seem to be ok with (Pre-merital sex and child out of wedlock), when they were cursing that they had him do the same thing on Smallville.

It's just being fans of different media. Doesn't mean I hated the other project, but the movies are also elseworld tales, so I was ok with some of the changes because that's how I made peace with some of the more irritating things in my mind.

The comics are their own continuity, as is the movies, as is Smallville. It's all good.

And that was the most moronic thing I've heard all day.

I'm sorry.

Could you elaborate more on what you don't agree with about my statements?

that might be asking a little much.... though I dig the goth chick in his avvy  , I forget her name but she's got a crazy website....

It's just a little strange to jump in and discount what someone was saying with no explanation to it.

I was trying to show that every form of Superman media is not 100% in line with the comic books.
Some stray farther than others (like giving Superman a kid, and making him a homewrecker:rolleyes: ), but each are their own interpretation and neither is wrong to enjoy.

He obviously didn't agree with the reasonable approach. More power to 'im.

Well that was totally uncalled for. You should apologize.

Particularly since B8 is one of the nicest, most tolerant and patient posters we have here.
Me, on the other hand... :O

And that was easily the rudest thing i've read all week... not to mention uneccassary.

oh, and on the subject, isn't it supposed to be the Green Arrow on Smallville? for something like 7 or 8 episodes?

I would have to agree, but somebody also posted a rude comment about me in a topic in the DC Comics fourm the other day. So this along with that are both the rudest things i've read all week. :(

And we have our share of "Thin-headed" ones that show up here from time to time.:D

I would love to see Batman on Smallville (excuse me Bruce Wayne on Smallville)

But if aint Christian Bale...... Like I know they gotta cast someone else but still....

and why the hell hasnt Oliver Queen been considered. I've been pinning over Green Arrow (no homo) to be on Smallville since Season 4

EDIT: Oh wait they have....bout damn. But damn what's up Lois trynna **** all Clark's homies?(Aquaman last year, AC this year)

I think it's fair to say that the ultimate fanboy dream come true would be an episode where Clark meets with an unnamed character played by Christian Bale. It could be a passing thing or not, but it would be the ultimate comeuppance.

I think another Uber-Geek-gasmic moment would be a Hypertime Crisis involving Gerard Christopher, Dean Cain and even Brandon Routh. Yeah... a Superman for all ages would be true ownage, especially if Reeves death could be reflected by the pre-emptive death of "Superman of Earth-2" or something like that... let the guys who've done it show Welling's Clark how it's done. Maybe even a fuzzy transmission from one of the cartoon voices of Superman.

To me personally, a story arc involving Diana would be the most satisfactory to me... I'd just love it to death... especially if played by a hot actress, but I don't think that most people would enjoy that as much as I would... Of course, I'm the guy who likes Steel more than Green Arrow...

And while Green Arrow as a recurring character on Smallville is a definite step up, I would more appreciate an episode where Martian Manhunter is exposed to have been a teacher at Smallville High and shows his true form, in full green prosthetics and tries to get Superman to join the League that he's been refusing to join with Ollie. Ollie and J'onn leave, setting up things for the finale, which includes the arrival of a leage that includes: MM, a reprised Aquaman, Bart the Flash, Hal, and yes, Cyborg for good measure backing Clark up when things are hitting the fan before departing...

Of course, this would be under the assumption that Season Six is the end, and that the tights rule would be nixed for a two-part series finale, but unlikely...

Hal Jordan would be great!!!

Keep in mind Fanboy "Orgasim Wet Dream" Ideas can also turn out to be forced pieces of crap to the general public. Like that Hypertime crisis thing would just not work I feel
