The G-man has already given a pretty good indication of who this might be, if you check up on his past interviews...
What character have we not seen yet, whose casting would also follow the pattern of referencing previous... incarnations?

In fact, Al Gough said in one interview that they wanted to explore the history between Jor-El and Zod, a friendship between them only to become enemies (ring a bell, anyone) and how that lead to the destruction of krypton. All that in season 6.![]()

LOL! If they go that route, watch 'em link her back to Lana in some way.BaK said:wonder if there will be a girl involved![]()
I don't remember that interview, but that would be an awesome angle to explore.heliorei said:In fact, Al Gough said in one interview that they wanted to explore the history between Jor-El and Zod, a friendship between them only to become enemies (ring a bell, anyone) and how that lead to the destruction of krypton. I'd be thrilled to see the parallels between Clark/Lex and Jor-El/Zod. Perhaps a flashback episode? If so, we already know who would play young Jor-El.![]()
TV Guide: One thing that struck me was when Jor-El told Clark that Zod destroyed Krypton. That seems a departure from traditional Superman mythology.
Gough: The idea was that on Krypton and we'd like to explore some of this in Season 6 Zod was the ultimate terrorist. He and Jor-El were once friends and became enemies. As a result, there was a breakaway. It has more to do with political intrigue rather than that the planet started spinning too close to the sun, which has always sort of been the traditional story.
