Christopher Reeve's appearance was to tell Clark about his Kryptonian destiny. I think Hackman would help lure Lex to the dark side.

Just a thought. But, probably would happen much later on in the season if it does happen.

Ausiello: Holy Kryptonite, yes! For those of you who didn't see the Super prattle I posted yesterday in the Ausiello Report, Jimmy Olsen will make his eagerly anticipated debut in the season premiere, and he's going to look a lot like Veronica Mars' ex, Troy Vandegraff (aka, actor Aaron Ashmore). Additionally, several of my Super moles now confirm that Jimmy is definitely being eyed as a love interest for Chloe. Now, here's the other big news I teased about in AR: Sources say that a pivotal comic-book character will show up this season — and it's got "fanboy orgasm" written all over it. Can't say more, but expect an announcement very soon (like, perhaps, in next week's issue of TV Guide magazine)

Now I don't know WHAT to think.

Oh, and Zing, I'm still wrestling with the holidaze idea. It's gonna require a good deal of work, and like that freakin' review I keep trying to write, I don't know where to begin.

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up--but the new Batman feature is two years away...just a li'l Bruce Wayne couldn't hurt, could it? C'mon WB...Almiles...a two-parter called Gotham can't be the end of the world?

MM or Diana seem to be better bets at the moment. But...I'm hyped. I have the feeling that I'm going to be excited no matter who it is.

Because, might have been wrong- but weren't the legal disputes there because of Batman Begins? Now that we are past Batman Begins and are a couple of years before Batman Begins Again (2). I think we might finally be able to see Bruce Wayne.... also, possible- could CW be having it so we see how a Bruce Wayne cameo might get ratings? Anyone- Bruce Wayne (the cancelled TV show)? Cameo characters have been the testing grounds- such as Aquaman, which got further along in possible series that Flash did.

Might be going too far and jumping at all sorts of conclusions but, I think it might actually be time for the Bat.

On the other hand I seem to remember where someone asked about Oliver Queen or MM, to which he replied do you have spies in the writers room. So I'd look for them but not Bruce.

Correction, someone had asked if they could bring in Oliver Queen and Lori Lemaris, that's when he made that reply. Meaning that they may bring Oliver Queen or Lori Lemaris or maybe both!

I dont know so many good choices if you look at the last 2 season in 4 we got Mr. Mxyzptlk and Flash and in season 5 aquaman and cyborg so we will prob at least get 2 characters not counting jimmy olsen cuz DC cameo episodes equal higher ratings so one at the beginning and prob one in the middle/end I think martian manhunter is a good bet cuz they storyline wise smallville needs a new sherrif

I would also like to see clark get a love interest besides lana so lori makes sense as well plus i think now that Brainiac/Zod have appeared i think its good to bring on more comic book villians to bring Clark bigger challenges than just metoer freaks or psycho stalkers and I would love to see Bizarro
