Fans in MTV's site are asking Keaton to be cast as Batman in JLA !

Apparently (even though I haven't heard it yet) there is a rumor that he is one of the names talked about to play an older Batman and fans at the mtv site are saying they would like to see this happen and it would be a nice way of getting ppl to shut up about Bale not being in the movie.
All I can say is if this happens it will be one of the happiest days in my life, to see Keaton return and get little bit of closure on his Batman after the way the Burton movies came to an end...

That's cool, if they do a DKR movie in the same vein as Superman Doomsday, it'd be pretty cool to have Keaton voicing Bats. So either JLA or a DKR movie if there is one.

I think if the JLA film is based way into the future where Batman is older, and Superman is too- it would be beyond awesome if Keaton donned the cape and cowl one last time. It would have to be w/ the original BatMobile as well.

If this were the case, they would also have to get some older guy to play an aged grey streaked Superman a la Kingdom Come.

yes, sad but true. MTV has sucked for a looong time. VH1 is the real music channel. as far as i know, it always was. MTV only rocked in the 80's. and i HAAATE those stupid prissy teen bi tch shows. i dont get them at all, they are just plain stupid.

This got to be a joke. Keaton as JLA Batman?!? Keaton is too old!! I don't want a 55 yrs. old man as Batman. I'm sure he will turn it down if he was offer the part. Since when is Batman in JLA is suppose to be old? This isn't "The Dark Knight Returns" or "Batman Beyond".

Whether Keaton's being tapped for JLA or not, I'd like to interject that contrary to popular belief...umm...he's not THAT old.

Take a good look at Harrison Ford in that Comic Con feed he did with Spielberg and Shia...and he's doing Indy 4...

People are acting like Keaton's a frail geezer in a wheelchair...

I mean, everyone's aware that "Batman Returns" is only a 15 year old film right?

yeah! harrison ford! hes doin friggin indy 4 and he looks REALLY old compared to keaton. i just saw keaton on some crime show thing (with chrios o donnel too), and he looked just fine for batman still. look, the only way i would ever see this probable box office bomb that its destined to be, would be if Keaton came back as the bat. even though its just fan talk, thats what i would want. bale is too young to be batman, at least in a JLA film. so i vote Keaton!! and dont kid yourself by thinking that keaton wouldnt do well. he would be the only thing that would make this film worthy to see. he would draw old time fans in like nats to a flame.
