*SIGH* here we go again with "killer batman". so what? it didnt hurt the film's, or the character. in fact, thats what alot of the fans seem to like about keatons batman. thats just fanboy nitpicking. keaton SHOULD return. and so what if it makes it seem like a sequel? i dont care as long as we got to see keaton in the suit again!

(This is an obvious reference to Beetlejuice and Keaton. God I hope this is true. The only two people that could get me to see this movie is Tom Welling and Michael Keaton back as Batman.)

I really doubt it.

The script would have to be really good to attract Keaton back. With how Mike thinks, it would have to really be a good script that would challenge his talents in some way and expound on the Batman character, which, by all accounts, isn't probably going to happen, because if it was, the fanboys wouldn't be so against the film.

This is not to say, however, that I wouldn't die happy if Keaton DID come back to play Batman, but until I see something from a more definitive source, I think nobody should be taking the possibility seriously, at all.

So, in other words: the chance of Keaton actually returning to the role of Batman in any way is about one million-to-one.

Don't you guys think he is too damn old? I know many love Keaton, but be realistic here. He is too old. If it was 1989, then that would be fine. But not 17 yrs. later now. Keaton is in his middle 50s, so I don't want an old man being Bat again. JLA is not Batman Beyond & not even The Dark Knight Returns, so you may as well forget about Keaton ever returning. He will not play Bat again with knowing he is too old.
