I actually was surprised to see that no-one had start up a thread about this, what I believe, an amazing TV Series, not only is it great as a spin-off to the original Coen Brother's movie, but also stand very well by itself. The black-humour and drama keeps the series interesting along with some brilliant character performances from Martin Freeman (with a surprisingly good Minnesota accent) and Billy Bob Thornton as the cool and calm drifter [BLACKOUT](Lorne Malvo)[/BLACKOUT]

Fargo is an American dark comedy-crime drama television series created and written by Noah Hawley. The show is inspired by the 1996 film of the same name written and directed by the Coen brothers, who serve as executive producers on the series. It premiered on April 15, 2014, on FX. The series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Allison Tolman, Colin Hanks, and Martin Freeman.

Also I'm very happy that a second season has been confirmed, following different characters, but in the similar surroundings of the Northern state.
