The Returns suit was rather abstract in the musculature, and appeared grey in a lot of shots, whereas the 89 costume appeared black and had more traditional moulded mucles (if there is such a thing).

The Forever suit I'm a big fan of (bar you-know-what). The B&R suit was functional and the cowl, added to Clooney's jawline, certainly made him look like Batman, atleast from the neck up.

I didn't like the "Glittery" look of the B&R suit. It looked metallic.

Batman 1989 suit.

I prefer this one over the suit in Returns. Batman - 89 has held up well over the years.

You mean the normal B&R suit, or the anti-Freeze suit worn for the finale?

Batman Returns was by far my favorite, besides BB.

I liked the sleek industrial look of the BR suit compared to the '89 6-pac. The cowl looked way better in BR and the boots are cooler. There's some really big differences between the 89 and BR suits but you need 2 comparison pics to see them all.

The normal one. It was that weird metallic navy blue.

My favorite Bat suit is the Panther suit from Forever.
Those who know me knows im a Panther nut, And my little collection of Panther suit pieces and props is proof of that. Even if its nothing what others have.

About the color on the Returns suit in the movie, The Returns suit is just as black as the 89 suit and panther suit... Its just the lighting that hits the foam latex while shooting, and the blue tint they used on screen,That make it appear blue and grey at times.

They got the same problem in Begins aswell, the suit appear grey most of the time.
But its just because the lighting they use, In normal lighting like the scene at the docks when Batman says "Im Batman" the suit is all black, Because its in normal lighting.

Here is some pics of a screen used Returns suit in normal lightning, Borrowing the pics from Reevz.

I know it's black in real life, but all the matters is how it looks in the movie, and in the movie it looks grey much of the time.

I'm gonna go for Dead End.

I love my spandex.

*Agrees to disagree with everyone*

Dead End?!

I've just always been fond of the idea that Batman doesn't need bodyarmour, so he doesn't bother with the unnessicarly weight.

I know alot of people like the bodyarmour though, and yeah, for a realistic Batman it makes sense.

It doesn't bother me though, I'm more than happy with the BB suit.

With the exception of the awful B&R "Freeze" suit, I've liked all the Batsuits so far. It's tough to pick a favorite, but I've always like the BF "Panther" suit the most. I'd probably rank them thusly;
1. Panther suit
2. Begins suit
3. '89 suit
4. Returns suit
5. Sonar suit in BF
6. B&R "first act" suit.
7. Adam West suit!

I'm still a sucker for the oval bat-symbol. I realize it's not practical but it just looks cool. I would love to see the Begins suit with the Panther suit symbol.

I like the Batman 89 suit the best. The Batman Begins suit is cool, but the B89 suit was the original of the "armor" suits.

PLUS: The B89 suit had really nice balance of the straight edges and musculature details. And the chest logo was awesome with the yellow oval.

The Batman Returns so lost too much of the musculature details when they put in that car grill looking abdomen plating.

The B89 suit also looked menacing - more so than any of the other suits.
