Favorite Batman Movie Chest Symbol

I was never a fan of the yellow ovel so it goes to Begins

I loved the structure of the Bat symbol for B89, but the overall look of the sort of stylized and branded yellow bat-logo wore thin on me. To me, in a weird way, it screemed out more like a corporate marketing logo than a symbol of dark justice.

I like the BB one. I just thought the symbol shouldn't be bright, since sometime it can be a distraction. I felt Batman should blend in the dark like a shadow, but yellow make it stick out like a sore thumb. Of course, that is just IMO.

the poll should be updated and include the second symbol for batman and robin. he wore two suits just like he wore two suits in batman forever. personally i like the dark knight symbol but without the extra black around it. if you could just see the symbol i think that would be better.

While I'm not disagreeing with you or attempting to put you down in any way, I just wanted to point out that I think the yellow symbol was a stab at trying to strike fear in the minds of the criminals he pursues... I mean, not that some guy dressed as a bat with ninja skills isn't threatening enough, but you did use the word "distraction" and I think that's precisely what it's intended to be.

I prefer the modern symbol from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, the virtually look the same.

With an oval, Forever. Without, Begins. I don't like the little feet on the 89 version, and the Begins poster/Dark Knight chest version is way too geometric for me. The rest are just middling.

My favorite hands down is the symbol used in Batman (1989). The two extra points are bad ass.

I vote for the Panther bat symbol the best, even though I picked Batman Returns on the poll.
Although I like how it blends with the suit in BB and TDK.

i chose the batman forevr chest symbol because it looked sleeker and just cooler. i like the burton ones, but the forever one was the best looking of the bunch. the nolan movies....im not a fan of the "invisible" symbol.

I clicked the wrong one,I thought it was o about logos.
I voted Batman Begins logo,but I meant to pick The Dark Knight one.
I mean,the promotion and all that with the Batman Begins logo,I love that logo personally,but then they changed it on the suit.
Oh well,the Batman Begins chest symbol isn't bad either

Y'know I like all the symbols, yes even the small black oval in B&R, I thought that was cool (even if the rest of the suit, like the movie sucked). The only one I don't like is The Dark Knight's. I know they're trying to separate themselves from the old franchise, but that symbol is too simple and plain. It is ugly. If they wanted different and low-key the one in Batman Begins looked badass.

As it is:

1. Batman (1989)
2. Batman Returns
3. Batman Forever (first one with gold)
4. Batman & Robin (small black one for the first half)
5. Batman Forever (second giant black one)
6. Batman Begins (still cool and I understand it had to be different, but it was a needed downgrade for differentiation's sake)

I did not like the second silver crest or suit at all in Batman & Robin (like the movie) nor am I crazy about the logo being used in The Dark Knight (but it is such a small thing I don't really care).
