Seems harsh to leave anyone out as they were all done well, perhaps Johhny, Ben and Galactus didnt get the screentime or arcs of the others but I liked them all and everyone crushed their parts so that makes it a lot harder to pick just one standout.

Sue though probably stole the show, with Shalla-Bal second, giving birth while in space and still have to work to keep the rest of the family alive at the same time is hard to top. Her speech was iconic and her work at the end was pretty much the difference.

Shalla-Bal was electric in every scene she was in, visually and her voice was haunting, I hope we get more of her and Galactus for sure.

Galactus honestly, followed by Sue. The movie depended on his presentation and they nailed it. I felt the individual character interactions between Reed, Human Torch, The Thing and Shalla Bal were not fleshed out as much as they could have been.

Probably Reed, who I actually don't like in pretty much any other iteration. They did a great job of humanizing him here. Usually he's so dull.

I voted for Galactus because I remember having to hear so much BS from Fox for years about how a giant man was too silly and stupid to ever work in live action, so I have a few things I would like to say to them right now that would get me banned from the site.

I 100% agree that this is the first time I felt like I was watching Reed. They nailed his characterization, and I loved Pedro's execution of the character.

Its took me a while to warm to Quinn's, Johnny Storm (no pun intended), its more a quirky/annoying other people humor than Evan's one liners and zingers that the comic book version is more like, but his relationship with Ben as bickering Uncles came across more believable in the end and I loved the fact he was the one that decoded the language to talk to Shalla-Bal in the end to make him smarter than usually depicted, also he didnt hesitate to sacrifice himself for Franklin gave him a strong hero moment.

My only nitpick was they didnt go with a slightly longer, 60s hairstyle, like in some of the promo art shots of him but thats a minor niggle. His outfit was pure fire (pun slightly intended).

I didn't dislike anyone, but Shalla-Bal and Sue were the standouts for me and I gave the vote to the former.

BTW, how do you do polls on this site now?

They ALL were brilliant for me. Not a Fail in sight. I was especially impressed with Pedro Pascal's performance. I think he's going to be a wonderful leading man/fresh face for the MCU going forward.

But if I had to choose just one, it's going to be Susan. I understand clearly why Vanessa Kirby is an Oscar-nominated actress, and her scenes with Pascal were pure magic.

My head says Galactus but my heart says H.E.R.B.I.E. :o

Sue was my favorite of the Four.

Drizzy, all Galactus wanted was something to eat. And a mutant baby to transfer that hunger.

We’re not us when we’re hungry. :sneeze:

Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm was sensational, she channeled warmth, graceful strength and she totally nailed the ferocity that that the character has(I’d be more than happy to see her delve deeper into the darker facets of the character with Malice in future installments).

That's what separates him from Chris Evans' Johnny, and it was truly a pleasant surprise, and that's why I loved him😁

And he was ready to sacrifice himself to save his nephew is true to who he really was in the comics, in Jonathan Hickman's run, Johnny really did sacrifice himself to be trapped in the Negative Zone to save both Franklin and Valeria

Might actually be Reed. Understated performance, for sure, but Pedro Pascal really tapped into the guilt, fear and uneasiness of the character and played him like someone who can't shut off his brain ,for better or worse.
