Hopefully as late as possible, so it can thrive in theaters.Any guesses on when the film will be released on Blu-ray?
Come on James we don’t want another BVS situation. He also clarified it’s just the same “not exactly a sequel” he’s been talking about for the last few weeks.

So nothing new here.
I’m not against a World’s Finest because we’ve truly never properly gotten that, but it’s not my preference. The one team-up I’d be more hyped for than a solo Supes sequel is definitely Superman/Supergirl. I need my Brainiac, AND I think announcing such a thing would also boost Supergirl’s box office prospects, which, as I’ve mentioned, I’m very worried about despite thinking her movie will be great.I don't exactly like that wording.. we've heard that before with BvS & something similar with Superman Returns.
Am I alone for preferring to have a Superman 2 while he gets the ball firmly rolling for WW, Batman & presumably Flash/Aquaman projects before rushing into what is I presume, some sort of team up idea.. ?
I am with you. David’s Superman has been universally excepted. You got the perfect villain for the second movie in Braniac. Bradley Cooper as Joe-El sounds very intriguing. You have side rogues like Mixy, Live Wire, Toy Man, Parasite, ect….. I am all in on Superman. Superman/Supergirl is where this thing is headed.I don't exactly like that wording.. we've heard that before with BvS & something similar with Superman Returns.

I think we're all hoping it's a Superman/Supergirl teamup. It's the most logical creative direction after both have already been established in their own movies.
He does a few times, but except for one scene, Shakman doesn't really do anything special with the stretching. The use of his powers is rather scarse, throwaway and lackluster.Haven't been on in a few days. Seen the movie 4 times. Thinking whether I should watch a 5th time. Still hoping this weekend box office rises more.
I also watched The Fantastic Four: First Steps this week. It was enjoyable. Felt it had a slightly similar vibe to Superman 2025, as they started in the 'middle of the action'. Film was good but was mostly plot-driven. It had more plot. It lacked Mr. Fantastic's stretching abilities. That was kind of disappointing. Otherwise the tone seemed to have better balance than Superman.

I am getting the impression that Gunn is working on a Superman/Peacemaker movie. Especially if you follow the tea leaves. The pocket dimensions, Peacemaker season 2 picks up where Superman left off, Justice Gang/Flagg Sr., showing up in the show, Bel Reve….. Cena will be done with the WWE in 4 months.
I think a sequel to Superman will be with Supergirl, Braniac, Joe-El, and the daily planet gang but it’s years away. It will be a Avengers type movie in scope. Might end chapter 1 of the Gods and Monsters phase.
