Superman Returns Favorite Most Memorable Scenes in SR

Whats your favorite scenes of this movie..ones that stick out in your mind..that make u look back or reflect on a scene..or if u wish the most emotional scenes in your memory..either way..some of mines..

1. the plane sequence
2. lifting up nk into space..god..that screamed powerfull..even in a half weakened state he did it..it was beautiful
3. recharging to the sun..wonderful shot
4.very emotional scene would have to be supes talkin to his son at the end..
5. the lois n superman will u come with me scene..simply beautiful..

deffently when Supes talked to his son teary eyed... gave me a sniffle i will admitt

- Superman's heroic return on the baseball field as everyone cheered.

- The world gathering together to pray for Superman's recovery

- Brandon's speech at the end...wow

and..

when the screen was showing a newspaper front page "SUPERMAN Is Dead." the whole theater went real silent and u can hear the film flicking sound.

number 4 was a nice touch..she even looked at her ring...came to her senses

OMG my theater went silent too, which really worked, and you felt like it left an impact.

- SUPERMAN's first public appearence after saving Lois & all the rest of the passangers on the plane sequence

- SUPERMAN lefting New Krypton

- SUPERMAN heading to the sun to recharge

- SUPERMAN saving His city Metropolis sequence

- Superman vs. The Thug with the machine gun sequence

- Homage To Action comic # 1 With Superman lefting The Green car over his head .

- SUPERMAN flying off into space - The ending before the credits

- The Second Shirt rip in The daily planet elevator shaft with Sups flying up @ super speed

- The world gathering together to pray for Superman's recovery sequence

- Sups speech to his son Jason.

- Superman floating above earth listening to everything with his Super hearing.

- Sups confronting Lex on New Krypton.

- Jason throwing The piano to save his Mother .

- Lois diving into the ocean to save The man she really loves SUPERMAN .

- The opening credits

I really liked the ending, actually. From the time Lois visits him in the hospital to the time he goes to Jason's room and then the finale, of course.

supes speech to jason wasnt that good because Brando already did it and better.

I really wanted to hear Routh say: "I Bequeath you, Jason."

my most memorable scene was the Lex vs Superman showdown.
or Superman standing in the Plane door... being public again.

- Jimmy's 'Mr Clark!'

- The Zero G scene in the 777.

- Superman on the edge of space slowly drifting back into the atsmophere (and when he finally hits the ground)

- Lex kicking the crap out of Superman.

All of the above. Wow, I didn't realize there was so many memorable scenes. The movie really kicked ass.

- Lex kicking the crap out of Superman.

1. Ironically, this was one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. He was kicking the snot out of him. I think it effectively conveyed how much hate Lex has for Supes. It actually had me feeling sorry for Supes. Loved it!

2. Another scene I loved was Supes lifting NK into outerspace. Loved this scene because it showed how much heart he has. HE LIFTED AN ENTIRE CONTINENT MADE OF KRYPTONITE AND PUSHED IT INTO OUTERSPACE!!! Anti-climatic my a$$. Sheer will-power and determination. Beautifully done.

3. Lex: "Who is that boy's father?" bwahaha Loved that entire scene.

4. The plane sequence for obvious reasons.

5. Supes recharging.

 

[VGPOP]

When Superman entered plane and Williams magical score played in the background and Lois saw him completely speechless for the first time.

What a scene, five years gone and he's just back.

I cried right there.

1.) Superman's Blessing to Jason = i will admit i am not a fan of Superdad and Superkid, but this scene was just so perfectly executed: the music, the lighting, the camera angle, the acting, the script, the meaning of it all, perfect all around.

2.) Superman descends with the Daily Planet Globe= the most iconic scene in the whole movie.

3.) Superman takes the bullet in the eye= the most badazz scene (i think we now have an answer to Christian Bale's "Batman is the badazz" remark )

4.) Superman at the baseball stadium= combines two of my favorite things (Superman and baseball ). but what i really liked about this scene was the adulation of the crowd that Superman has returned. made me want to stand up and cheer right along with the crowd in the movie.


SuperJason and his amazming piano pushing feat is also defintely memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. its not something i want to dwell in right now.

The allusion to "Apollo holding the weight of the world on his shoulders" when Superman was saving Metropolis..and Jimmy took that perfect pose of Superman holding the Daily Planet over his shoulders..(the same pic that was one of the 1st official movie stills for SR)....

...or was that just me?

I loved all the action scenes, but the one that sticks out in my mind the most would be the speech to his son. That was very memorable.

I loved the whole damn movie...great acting, great effects and funny and everything was awsome esp lifting the Krypton island and throwing into space was the best that showed his powers ultimate. I can't wait to see the sequel.

Superman flying new krypton into outer space.

Superman Saving the plane, and then asking everyone if they're alright. He basicaly channeld Christopher Reeves in this scene. Simply amazing.

- Lex and the mini train set -I loved Spacey during this scene
- Supes at the baseball game
- Lex giving Supes a beat-down - I could just feel the despair
- Richard questioning Lois in the kitchen - that really hit me emotionally
- Jason and the goon playing chopsticks on piano
- opening shots + credits
