Superman Returns Favorite Most Memorable Scenes in SR

So... the whole movie? :o

I do have my gripes. But I do feel there were a lot of memorable scenes. I'm one of those people who like the little things in a movie. :)

For some reason I like the small sequence where Lois drops the contents of her purse, or her papers or what not. Clark loses the glasses and almost has a moment of regret for not telling her. Then as she leaves he watches her with the X-Ray vision, it reminded me of an old classic movie with a modern twist.

--Krypton exploding, then the opening credits. Much more impressive than I thought it would be. Loved the planets.

--The plane sequence (duh) especially after the wing rips off.

--The piano scene. I was so afraid of a long speech about Jason and Lois and Superman that confirmed the kid's parentage. Nope--that half-second summed it up quick.

--The yacht resuce. "Have you got them?"...and then boom! Awesome.

--The Superman beat-down. The most intense scene, IMO. It showed just how human Superman is, and just how inhuman Lex is.

--Lois rescuing Superman. Yeah, she's moved on--whatever. :)

--The fall to Earth, and ER scene.

--Superman gazing at Jason right before the speech moment. He looked so...intense and very tall standing in Jason's little room. Did anyone else notice how much he was glowing? He looked so happy and amazed by this little boy. (sniffle)

--Any flying scenes. Loved them all. :)

My favorites from the movie were:
1. The lifting of Gertrude from the depths of the ocean. Superman really comes as a beacon of hope for a family that has lost all. It was a very powerful scene.
2. Superman howering over Metropolis before going to Lois' home. The atmosphere and the music in that scene is so intense.
3. Superman and Lois Rooftop scene. Though this one's a homage to the 1978 movie, the mood and the motives of the character are so different. Ofcourse, the theme music again brings the emotions to life. A beautiful scene full of melancholic emotions.
4. Superman's flight into the sunset at the end was also beautiful.

I loved this scene aswell for the same reason but also the fact that Superman did something I've never seen before on screen. I mean you've seen him lift stuff, throw, etc. while flying but this time its totally different. He flies upwards pulling the Getrude then levitates for a bit holding the ship, I just thought that was something.

actually, the whole scene in the Gertrude (or whatever it is)

superman getting beat up...lex stabbing superman..and superman falling from the sky... i just want to repeat watching those scenes...
