Singer probably had to cut down on time, I bet he had to argue just to get two and a half hours out of them. I hope the DVD has a directors cut.

Most memorable scenes? Wow. There are so many that I really enjoyed and was inspired by. Here it goes:

1. Flying to the sun to recharge and violently speeding towards the water to blast into the New Krypton./Superman slowly descending into the Fortress of Solitude. Very beautiful and the pose was absolutely iconic.

2. The plane sequence in its entirety. Him busting through the wing was just .

3. The end speech given to Jason as Jason slept. Very beautiful and the pose with his hand on Jasons head was very inspiring.

4. Superman being viciously attacked was another favorite. The acting, the music, the atmosphere, and the whole concept was really emotional and made it hard for me to watch.

5. The scene where Richard starts hinting to Lois that Clark maybe Superman and Clark turns around, gives an awkward smile, and just waves. That was a pure Clark Kent comic book/movie moment.

6. Superman hovering over the Earth before flying back down to stop a robbery.

My favorite moment was the bank heist scene.

Another great moment was when Supes was protecting Metropolis as new Krypton was rising in the ocean.

Opening Credits and all the scenes he is flying,beautifully done.

Lois and Superman scene ...the theme music for that scene is the S***.

The Lex-robbing-the-museum scene.

I don't know why, but I just LOVED the music. Bum-bum-bum-bum. I've got to get me the soundtrack.

1. Clark's mom looking for him in the wreck and Clark hand's reaching out to her and then fainted.

2. Clark's mom waiting in the crowd outside the hospital. This to me was too sad for words. Her son is in a coma, maybe near death and she can't even get a glimpse of him.

3. The bullet onto the eye scene - I thought that was downright cool!

4. The piano scene

5. The scene where I think Jason seem to see the resemblance between Clark and Superman

6. Jason saying "I like him" and then in the room before he left ran, jumped up and gave Superman a quick kiss.

-Piano scene. I was in utter shock, it was amazing

-Superman's beatdown. So brutal, it was almost painful to watch.

-Superman recharging in the sun

-Lifting New Krypton then falling back to Earth.

Man, with all these amazing moments, I still find it hard to believe there are so many haters of this movie.

Here are my favorite moments from the movie:
1.Lifting up New Krypton and falling to Earth.(My favorite superhero movie moment ever).
2.The interview and night flight with Lois.
3.Getting beat down and stabbed by Lex.
4.The whole piano sequence.
5.Superman saving Kitty.

im surprised no one mentioned this but when supes/lois was flying the overhead shot of the reflection of the water..when lois touched the water..beautiful scene

It was also nice to see the Lois (Phyllis Coates) and the Jimmy Olsen (forget his name) from the George Reeves era of Superman. Phyllis Coates was Lex's rich wife who died and the Jimmy Olsen guy was the bartender talking with the new Jimmy Olsen while Supes is saving the place.

It was actually Noel Neill in the role of the old woman. Jack Larson was the bartender.
