This is going to be long and depressing, plus I'm sure I'm going to miss a lot of movies.

I grew up watching a lot of Clint Eastwood,Marx Brothers,(Dean)Martin and (Jerry) Lewis and martial arts movies.

I still love the Eastwood westerns and the Marx bros. just fantastic. I haven't attempted to sit and watch Martin and Lewis now that I'm adult.

Fred and Ginger,uh,

West Side Story still love it.

E.T. still up there.

Superman,I was so in love with Christopher Reeves for years after that movie. :O

I tended to watch a lot of stuff that wasn't age appropiate,Madame X and The Island Of Dr.Moreau with Michael York.

Star Wars OT.

Oh,I can't think of anymore.

peter pan(disney)
supergirl

i can still get through them but supergirl is hard- warner bros make a new one!

When I was younger I used to love Disney's "The Black Hole." I always thought the robots were cool. I just watched this again the other night for old times sake. Ugh....terrible. I won't go into how bad the acting and dialogue was...but I never realized there were several points in the movie where the people were simply floating around in space...without space suits. No problems breathing or talking. Just horrible.

I can't think of any I liked then, and don't like now.

You must be young. The majority of the movies came out like in the early to mid 90s.

I still like most of my childhood favorites - Goonies, Masters of the Universe, etc.

How could anyone hate Ghostbusters?

In my case , it's because of Bill Murray. I just find him to be a (very very very ) x times 100 overrated actor .
And yes before anyone tells me to watch flicks like Rushmore and Lost In TRanslation...i have and i still think he's not that great.

Anyways back to the topic.
Being someone who grew up watching Bollywood movies as well , i can say that those are just about the only flicks i cringe when watching. Merely because i realise just how lame those movies were. Don't get me wrong , just like with all forms of cinema there are good flicks and bad flicks and there are many good bollywood flicks. Just not the ones i liked as a kid :o
SOme of them are passable but that's more because of nostalgia.

ANd that is the primary reason why i still like most of the Hollywood flicks. Nostalgia and of course a deeper admiration. I saw Robocop when i was 6 years old and i still love it. Back then it was just a cool action flick but now...the satire of America...the symbolism of Robocop...it's so much more :D

Mary Poppins and Hocus Pocus...can watch those all day long for some reason. Love Hocus Pocus, watch it every time around Halloween.
