There were 4 big sequences in AoU, which was your favourite? :)

1. Assault on Hydra Castle

2. The Hulk vs Hulkbuster

3. Cap/Natasha/Hawkeye Chase Ultron to recover The Vision

4. The Finale On Floating Sokovia

I'm going with the opening scene.

Opening sequence for sure!

If Cap, Widow, and Hawk was after Ultron in that scene, where was Thor, Stark, QS, SW, and Banner?

The final battle was ripped straight outta a comic book. Was awesome.

QS/SW went to help Cap, Stark was with Banner at Avengers tower, Thor was away searching for answers

Edit: Nevermind

The finale in Sokovia. The "protect the button" scene was like Brian Hitch's widescreen work come to life.

Loved Sokovia, it made Ultron into a tragic villain, and well... it was great

Definitely the final battle. You could feel the unity and intensity in those scenes.

From the Avengers in the front lines with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver to the Avengers in the supportive roles with Fury, Maria Hill, and even War Machine.

Wait, did Falcon participate in the final battle?

I kinda like the after party battle with Mark 1 Ultron just because they we're caught off guard.

Wait, did Falcon participate in the final battle?

Nope.

^I thought I missed him! I really expected him to be there considering he was at the party.

Heck, even Maria Hill and Fury were able to pawn one of Ultron's minions.

Ultron's minions are jokes then obviously.

The Hulkbuster one. Felt more brutal, and one on one battles are better, IMO.

Not really considering how much a few of them were a threat to the team at the party, then again they had to rightfully be affected by PIS due to them being just to many.

Hulkbuster vs hulk was definitely awesome. Ploughing through a 20 story building from top to bottom was a feat of strength we rarely see in a marvel movie....this was the most intense and longest battle in the whole movie as well.

That big circle shot when they were all protecting the key in the city, all fighting as one... straight up comic book. Plus the relative intensity of some of the moments (Iron man wanting to blow the thing, Cap and Widow ready to die for it, Barton going back for the kid and laying next to Quicksilver's body, when Wanda finally "walks out that door")... yeah, even though it was overlong and often just too much, I'll go with the finale.

Hulk vs Hulkbuster was awesome, except for the way it ended. A dazed Hulk get's knocked out with a similar punch Thor received from that same Hulk in Avengers 1...?
And Hulk gets a tooth knocked out, has something like that ever happened to him in the comics? I found it to be a bit weird, and does his regeneration also allow him to grow back teeth?

awww man... its really hard to choose, specially among these four scenes. all of them were done so well and actually moved the plot forward.

gah! going with the Hydra Castle scene. the teamwork you can see with the Avengers is so wonderfully solid here, you can still recognize their individuality but as they work together its like a incredibly well oiled machine. a solid unit.

I think the after party is also a very good action sequence, specially because they're like in civilian clothes. It's a small thing, but I loved that.

the action sequences were the strength of the film, so it is hard to choose one in particular, the one that made me hold on to my seat was the one Cap/BW/Hawkeye vs Ultron in SK, but the final battle had the emotions!
the Hydra quarters assault was Avengers being so much fun!
