Right now I can think of.. hmm.. Halo.. the first one.. haven't played Halo II and/or III.. also, F.E.A.R.. great background music.. Wish I could get it, somewhere, somehow..Favourite video game music
Hmm, I really liked the music in the second level in the orginal classic Sonic the Hedgehog.
....When it comes to movies, I'm a big fan of soundtracks, they can really push the film that bit more forward for me, like Indiana Jones of Back to the Future. I was putting some movie stuff onto my iPod last night, and thought to video games. I realised there's some awesome stuff there too, so I thought maybe we could all post our favourite video game music.
For me, the Metal Gear solid is littered with amazing music, but for now, I'll just leave it down to this awesome live version of the main theme adapted to include some MGS3 music too - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfKA4b5SFq4
: Always sounded way to cookie cutter. Nothing terrible, but nothing I haven't heard a hundred times before in Godzilla movies.
Little Big Planet has had some great music in its trailers too, here's the whole version of the theme - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMGljB4MJ_w
And of course, there's no beating the classic Legend of Zelda theme, very dramatic version of it here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6xE4pnf63U&feature=related![]()
True dat.Music from Doom (the original) was eerie and mysterious and creepy - it was perfect for the game. Also, the music for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was good at enhancing the setting.
