Thanks again A.D. From the timeframe he suggests, it sounds like this interview was a couple of months ago.
He also comments on the Avengers here:
The quote about his own cameo pretty much confirms he's [blackout]Happy Hogan[/blackout]
^ I agree.
I would love to know where they would fit the hulk in....even a reference to him would be the *****
It'll most likely be Sam J. as Fury tying the two together.
Ya that interview was most likely awhile ago, ya he said something before that hinted at that he was playing him.
Imagine a crossover film called Iron Man/Hulk where Iron Man 2 and Hulk 2 have a shared storyline.
Good interview. I also like that other one that was on the front page about the Avengers movie and how Marvel wouldn't do it if Downey Jr, Norton and whoever will play Cpt. America won't sign on for it. That could be an epic film with those two frontlining it alone.
whoa whoa whoa
Tin man encountering The Hulk??? There has been talk of this???
I would **** myself. I really would.
If Hulk showed up in Iron Man and/or IM showed up in Hulk even for just a second, myself and fanboys everywhere would explode with glee. Two of my favorite heroes sharing the screen in anticipation of a full-on Avengers movie would be rad. If TIH and IM both wind up being great movies that would be even better.
So he's not flat out denying the rumors of Hulk, Sam Jackson and Hilary Swank.
It's either because he is playing with our heads, or like he said doesn't like lying to us.
Great read, thanks for posting this, everything he said sounds good to me, I really like the idea of Hulk and IM crossing paths, I really hope that happens.
He's doing both Rocker. Of course he won't lie because it'll come back and haunt him.
I don't want him to tell us to much, I want to be surprised and enjoy the movie without knowing everything going in.
I myself would be happy to see the Hulk in Iron Man, but I have that feeling that he'll only be mentioned in passing or maybe an image seen in a newspaper, something to that effect. But don't get me wrong, would love him to physically be in there, even for a moment.
Jon Favreau Talks Iron Man

Iron Man director Jon Favreau gave MTV an update about the anticipated movie:
There's a lot of effects work that's going to be happening in the next six months. The movie is pretty much going to be everything that it's going to be by the end of January. Because so much of it is animated and CGI you have to turn it over and let those people do their work on it. So we'll be done in about a month with all the big creative decisions. And then the rest of it becomes about scoring and sound design.
There's more at the link above, from the running time to the possible cameo appearances.
who is hilary swank supossed to be playing?
Black Widow more than likely.
Someone needs to find Vince Vaughn and ask him what he thought of the film. I know he'll be complementary to his buddy but he may let some of those hard to find beans loose!
The fact he won't comment just proves it's true. Nick Fury Cameos in both movies, I call it.
I like that he won't let the cat out of the bag, and that he also knows we will figure it out for ourselves anyways.
I suppose the most sensible cameo would be one with Fury alerting IM to the danger of the Hulk... Would they end the movie on this? That be a *****y thing... But I can't see them both in a seen together.
Oh well, hope this isn't ruined for me before I see the movies, could be a real treat.
