Elsewhere on the board I saw a post by Bishop where he described all the scenes added to the new edition and also explaining that some of them were actually placed in the wrong sequence (Sue & Victor having diner and Johhnys ride in the limo with Victor for example).
Anyway, I would be interested if anyone has read the novel (or maybe even the script) and is able to tell the right sequence of the scenes?
Some other thoughts on the s.e.:
While I'm glad that many stuff was put back in, I think we all agree that having both the Planetarium scene and the Ellis Island scene in the movie was too much. Good thing is that the Planetarium scene is longer than the one used in the European cinematic version. Still it's a pity that the still use Doom's original voice instead of the more mechanical one that was present in the European version. Guess we can't have it all.
ps The original German dvd release had 12 deleted scenes. All of them made it back into the movie except for one. Obviously because the fx on Reed weren't finished. Would have been nice to see it.
