I would have loved it more if they had stayed on the ground a bit longer, all the flying got annoying after a few minutes, Cloud isnt Superman, if they do another one i hope they make the fights a bit more grounded in reality.

It's called Final Fantasy for a reason.

I liked the aerial element to their battle.

I think the movie had enough fantasy in it without all the flying around.

Anyway its obvious there isnt gonna be a winner in this argument so we may as well give it up.

I gave Vincent a call on his new cell phone. He said he's going to fly to your house, pick you up by your feet and fly you around for a long time :p .

LOL, Vincent is welcome round my house anytime, such a cool character. Though i would prefer Tifa and Yuffie to come round in full lesbo mood!!!!!

sephiroth was the only one flying

No way, the ariel combat made that last battle great. I loved it.
Chocobos and Moogles should have been in the movie, though...

It looked like Cloud was flying as well to me, especially in the Shinra main building.

There was a brief scene with a Moogle, though. :D

If you pay attention you notice that he jumps from wall to wall the entire time in the Shinra building.

And when he fights the dragon, he uses borrowed momentum from his team mates to fly, he dosen't do that on his own...

I know he borrowed from his team mates in the Bahamut fight. But in the forgotten city fight he jumps in the air and manages to stay there for a while before being hit back down onto a tree. And in the Sephiroth fight, he jumped from the bottom of the shinra main building to the top at least once. Those constitute flying to me.

Hahaha, yeah. The time meter is their way of teasing us about how much of our lives we have wasted...

In the movie he hadnt, he only used materia in the forgotten city, it had been two years since the game, and he had been suffering a sickness for god knows how long. I dont think he was at that level at any point in the movie.

I seriousley beg to differ. His Materia was taken away, but that does not at all effect his physical condition that was built up in the original FF7, and the disease does not degrade physical attributes.

He needed two jumps to get on top.

The desease did degrade physical conditions, didnt you see it affecting him in the 1st 2 fights with Jadaj and his gang.

I've watched the movie five times now and i'm pretty sure its one, its after Sephiroth drops half the top of the building on him.

I know which scene you mean, he needs two. Pay close attention. If you want I can put screens up.

Now... where the hell did I put my DVD?

Yeah dude, but it was just giving him painful shocks running through his body. He was still running on a full tank, but the breaks went in and out.

I don't remember Cloud ever using materia in the movie.
