Find the Jar-Jar in a Movie

Eh, I like both. The Daniel Craig films make an effort to be more gritty and realistic, yet still manage to be incredibly thrilling. I think we'd see more gadgets in the new films if Die Another Day hadn't taken that concept so far off the rails that they had to (almost) completely reboot the series.

For me it's Skids and Mudflap in Transformers Revenge of The Fallen. The fact that Bay thought kids and people would like them shows his ignorance.

Even though I like Kat Dennings she was unfunny and annoying in Thor Dark World.

Chow in Hangover Part 3

Chris Tucker in Fifth Element

Mary Jane in SpiderMan 1-3 such a bad representation of the character expecially in Spider Man 3.

Dane cook in any movie

Nick Swardson in ANY Movie

I hate to say this, but Adam Sandler in any of his recent movies. He is funny in his older movies but not movies like grown ups etc.

There are people who are already claiming that Rocket Raccoon will be the Jar Jar of Guardians Of The Galaxy.

Bradley Cooper can't possibly be that bad.

Since we have a "most annoying movie character" thread, I figured I'd give this a bump.

I fully expected Charlie Day to be the Jar-Jar of Pacific Rim, but somehow he actually managed to be one of my favorite characters in that movie. Same with the snowman from Frozen.

Kat Dennings, I'll admit, is pretty obnoxious in the Thor, but at least she does occasionally help out (carrying the tripod, suggesting that Thor and his race are not actually gods, etc.), so I can kind of let her off the hook.

But Topher Grace in SM3...yeah, that's definitely up there. It's like they weren't even trying to make him watchable.

I figured I'd bump this thread because we've had quite a few movies since it started and there are plenty of Jar-Jars to be named. Here are a few I can think of.

Batman v. Superman - Oooooooh boy. It would be easy to just say "everyone" here but I'd have to go with Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. I didn't hate him as much as everyone else did, but he does stick out the most, because he feels like he's in a different movie than everyone else.

Pan - This movie also sucked royally, but the worst part here is easily Garrett Hedlund's Hook (although Hugh Jackman truly does try to out-suck him as Blackbeard). This character is supposed to be cool, heroic and charming, and yet he's none of it. He's just an annoying, hammy *****e. I like Hedlund as an actor (usually)... I hope that his awful performance in this movie was due to bad direction and writing.

Charlie Day and Burn Gorman in Pacific Rim

Luis in Ant-Man

Paul Rodriguez in Bloodwork

Jesse Eisenberg in BvS

Hein Reiss as Hermann Goering in The Battle of Britain

Rudy Rhod in The Fifth Element. In fact, to me, he's the closest Jar Jar equivalent of them all.

Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is definitely the most recent example that comes to mind.

EVERY Hamlet film ever made. Rosencrantz and Guilderstern. That was Jar Jar's role.

I would argue that Hamlet in the Ethan Hawke Hamlet was the biggest Jar-Jar in that movie (since EVERYONE was a Jar-Jar).

Blast from the past.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome - the guy and his son that were bushwhacking people out in the wasteland.

Mad Max Fury Road - the People Eater; this was a hard one, but I ultimately didn't find the People Eater as interesting as the Bullet Farmer. The Bullet Farmer snapping and unloading on the convoy is what saved him from this list.

BvS - Lex Luthor

edit:

Age of Ultron - Quicksilver - He was forgettable compared to Ultron and Scarlet Witch.

Iron-Man 2 - Sam Rockwell's character

Thor: the Dark World - The Earth characters, except for Jane and that crazy scientist.

Batman Forever- Two-Face; Riddler wasn't that bad imo.

TDKR - Foley

I believe male fans that are overly precious about the property would be the Jar Jar in this scenario....
