Find the Jar-Jar in a Movie

The two dumb a** scientists in Pacific Rim…I don't even care to know their names.

Yeah, that whole subplot kind of killed the movie for me. You have Hunnam, Elba and Kikuchi acting super-serious about everything in all their scenes, and then you keep cutting back to this two doofuses and Ron Perlman acting ridiculous.

Ruined most of the movie for me and even took Del Toro down a notch as director to me. It was just bad and felt so out of place. I tried rewatching the movie thinking maybe it would be better knowing ahead of time, didn't help.
The action scenes are beautiful though.

I love Kat, but yes, it becomes a problem when her character's dialog are just one-liners. Just like Guy Pierce's awful character 'Snow' in Lockout. Literally just jokes, one lines and clichés.

That was the point of the character, i mean he was meant to be that way.

lol, eggbeater arm

This had me rolling, soooo true.

John Connor in Terminator 2 was like that at times, i mean he was just flat out annoying as all ****.

Alex from The Mummy Returns.

Franco in all 3 of the Spiderman films is as cartoony and annoying as you can get.

I 100% agree with the Darcy assesments as she made me want to leave the theater.

Yeah, I loved Snow in Lockout. Shame the rest of the movie was so crappy. I wish Guy Pearce's character would show up in a better film.

Chow in Hangover 2 and 3. I liked him in the first one, but they dialed it up to 11 in the sequels and made me want to punch the tv.

How was he cartoony in the first film? He seemed pretty normal to me. The second I can sort of see, and we all know that he just practically turned into a joke in the third one.

I'll definitely agree with this. Especially in Part III.

Awww man, how can you hate on Leo Getz? His drive-thru speech is one of the best things in the whole Lethal Weapon series!

Leo was a hilarious butt monkey. I loved the drive thru speech (and his introduction when both Murtaugh and Riggs were f**ked with him the whole time) in 2, when both Murtaugh and Riggs shot his tires out in 3, and when Chris Rock completely ripped him a new one in 4.

A movie that is a huge guilty pleasure of mine is the Roger Corman 90's Fantastic Four movie. But there is one character in it that is totally annoying and is really only there to create the catalyst for the Fantastic Four getting their powers in the first place. His story arc really adds nothing to the overall plot and he is virtually useless for the rest of the movie. I am of course talking about The Jeweler, Corman's non-cannon addition loosely based on the character The Mole from the comics.

One could argue that from the same movie Doctor Doom is annoying, but I personally love him. I mean he is far more comicbook Doomish in behavior even when he is hyperactively gesticulates all over the place (Perhaps a byproduct of having to wear a face concealing mask all the time.), more so than Julian Mc Mahon in the most recent Fantastic Four movies.

P.S. I do think Julian McMahon could have played a more aggressive, intimidating Doom if he had been given better direction and told to go balls to the wall with his darker side, but it's a case of Fox wanting to play it safe and not scare the kids so they could make more money.

I just hated his casting in the movies and he bothered me in the first one on some levels but he wasn't full Jar Jar til the end of or middle of the second in my mind.

Leo Getz was amazing in the second Lethal Weapon, was still funny but not as fresh in 3, and his shtick was really old by 4. But the real Jar Jar in 4 was Chris Rock.

They **** you, they **** you, they **** you with the cell phones! :cmad:

Pauly Shore, Bio Dome, Son In Law & In The Army Now.

Larry The Cable Guy as Mater in the Cars movies & every other thing that he has been in.

Tyler Perry in Tyler Perry's movies.

Larry the Cable Guy should be banned from ever appearing in a movie again.

Darcy in the Thor movies.

She's a science intern who does no science at all in the movies. Her character exists 100% just for comic relief
