All those annoying little-miniatures (one day I will grow up to be like you) derivatives of the lead hero sidekicks, in film, animation, and comics all come pretty close.

Ugh these annoying little Scrappy-Dooish blabbermouth appendages, .....they always pop up, attach themselves to the main hero, and ruin otherwise perfectly good franchises.

And this trope may have been somewhat subverted here, but they still put him out there, established he's there somewhere being annoying!

And I know this little sh***r was popular, but I was so glad to see him impaled on a freakin sword.

Morrison was done with him (and rightlly impaled him on a sword), of course they found a way to appease the fans and bring him back.

The Feral Kid, Short round, and Harley were awesome. Plus they were actually helpful.

In those movies Toadie (Road Warrior), Willie (Temple of Doom) and Happy Hogan (IM3) were the real Jar Jars of those movies.

You want to add another kid, add the son from The Mummy 2.

Has anyone mentioned John Turturro in the first Transformers? He's a great actor most of the time but he was annoying as hell in that movie. I remember him being the one thing everyone (even people who liked the movie) hated about the first film in the series. So of course Bay brought him back two more times and made him even MORE annoying.

Has anyone mentioned John Turturro in the first Transformers? He's a great actor most of the time but he was annoying as hell in that movie. I remember him being the one thing everyone (even people who liked the movie) hated about the first film in the series. So of course Bay brought him back two more times and made him even MORE annoying.

The fact he came back two more times makes it appalling.

That was actually the point of Willie's character. She was supposed to be completely out of her element and make things twice as challenging for Indy. She was a city girl totally inept in perilous situations. Typical damsel in distress.

Those other annoying characters like Ruby and Jar Jar should have been dialed back as they played to big a role.

Kat Dennings in the Thor movies.

I like Kat, but I think she was a miscast in the Thor movies. She CAN be funny but she's not the quipy type. Like if they got Audbrey Plaza instead, and let her improv, her character would've improved immensely.


It's kinda weird that Kat's even in the Marvel universe.

I like Kat too, but I find here character completely pointless in Thor.

Yeah she served no purpose other than having her be there for exposition (or have someone to talk to) for Portman.

I'am not a massive Thor fan but I've always thought a Thor movie could be like LOTR than Masters of the Universe.

As annoying as Kat may be in the Thor movies, she's even worse on that awful TV show of hers. I tried watching it a few times and I wanted to gouge my eyes out.

That show is NOT good. That's why no one is talking about it. Kat would work better if her show was single camera, like The New Girl (before that show kinda went off the rails).

People's tastes have grown past your typical TV sitcom, due to Netflix and comedy central.

People want less of 'Two Broke Girls'. People want more 'Broad City'.

Agreed. BUT WHY IS THAT SHOW STILL ON????!!!

My God, so many good shows get sh**canned before they have time to find an audience, and yet that thing is still around. Why do people watch it?

I think ratings wise it's doing fine for CBS. It's safe. (I was gonna say it's inoffensive but that Asian character though. Lazy.)

It's sorta like Nickleback or the Insane Clown Posse. There a millions of fan according to Facebook and twitter, but do you know any fans in real life? Personally I don't know any Juggalos, nor do I want to.

Haha yeah. So true. I always wonder who these people are that keep that kind of crap afloat. It's like the Underworld and Resident Evil movies. They're all terrible and I've never met anyone who likes them. Yet SOMEONE must go see them because they keep cranking out more of them.

I know people who like them, but not..LOVE THEM.

I have theories though. Internationally in countries where English isn't the main language, when an American movie or show gets dubbed or has subtitles, all of the bad acting and writing goes away. Who knows, the chinese dubbed Transformers movies could've improved on the dialog, and made them smarter and witty. That's why maybe movies like Twilight has a bigger fanbase outside of the US because they written better for those markets. And the audience will never notice the bad acting either.
