Find the Jar-Jar in a Movie

Actually, the hell with it... Every kid in every movie ever is a Jar-Jar except for The Goonies, Stand By Me and ET.

False.

Thurman Merman from Bad Santa was fantastic.

I do agree that most kids in movies mostly starring adults are pretty terrible, though. Lots of good all/mostly kid casts, though, like The Monster Squad, The Sandlot, The Bad News Bears (original), and the ones you named (especially Goonies, my favorite movie ever).

Yeah, I was just kidding there. Some of the films you mentioned are classics. Hell, I just saw The Nice Guys last night and the girl who played Gosling's daughter was really good. Although in general, if there is a kid in a movie, they are the weak spot. But there are exceptions.

Also, I recently saw Independence Day: Regurgitant. While it's tempting to call everyone in that movie a Jar-Jar, there was definitely one character in the film that fits the Jar-Jar role to a "T." I don't recall his name and I've never seen the actor before, but he looked a bit like John Oliver and he spent the whole movie running around scared, annoying everyone he came in contact with. Stupid, worthless, pointless character that you could completely remove from the movie and it wouldn't matter.

I think the only time I've seen kids that aren't Jar-Jars were the little birds in the game of thrones finale.

Enchantress in Suicide Squad. And her stupid CGI brother, if he even counts.
