could someone explain his history to me see I'm currently reading the series and enjoy it but I dont understand certain things like how many firestorms are there and who was with him in space and what happened to him afterwords

The cover was an homage to the cover of Crisis on Infinite Earths #7:

Instead of all the heroes, however, they drew in a bunch of Firestorm variants to symbolize the death and rebirth of Jason's version of Firestorm.

I'm not sure who the "new" Firestorm is, but Mikhail Arkadin was a Soviet superhero who merged with Ronnie to create a new Firestorm at one point.

two last questions does firestorms look vary on who he is currently merged with and how come ronnie could be firestorm by himself and jason needs someone else

The Firestorm matrix itself varies from person to person. Ronnie needed to merge with Professor Stein at first, but eventually they both gained the ability to transform into their own Firestorm being. Stein became the Firestorm elemental and Ronnie kept turning into his own Firestorm. So, depending on who's dominant in the Firestorm matrix, Firestorm's look changes. Jason is currently the dominant mind in the Firestorm matrix, meaning he controls the body, so it looks how he wants it to.

one really last thing is the "constucts" that come out of his wrist gauntlets are they part of his powers or some sort of technology

That I don't know. I'm actually a relatively new fan to Firestorm myself. Someone else with more knowledge can probably answer it better, but as far as I know, that's just a bit of artistic license on the penciler's part.

I'm thinking that based on this run ,.. Firestorm is a hero designed by the participants.
Technically they put limits on him to make him easier to do.

They could have made him "Two" Firestorms,.. They could have Made him a pure energy manipulator or a pure transmuter, or able to grant immortality by tweaking flesh to work the way he wants.

The power could be tweaked to GIVE SUPER POWERS!!!

Mick was his best friend. Professor Stein was still the elemental as of Infinite Crisis, but he merged with Jason to save Jason's life and "reformat" Firestorm into his current state.
