First image from the Wolverine cartoon?

Don't think so. Unless Kaare Andrews is one the concept artists.

I actually wouldn't mind him looking like that. I like the style; very neat. I just hope the Wolverine we finally get looks awesome!

It does say 2003 for the date.......so I'm gonna go with a 'no'.

as long as he uses his claws for more than slashing robots, i don't think a wolverine cartoon will ever make much ground...

plus i much prefer his original evolution design which i think this is heavily based off but not as cool.

Thats whats really lame about Wolverine in a cartoon is he isnt allowed to use the claws on anything that bleeds. He just isnt a PG character.

the funny thing is that when i watched the 90s animated series, i didn't even notice at the time because the other characters were at least enganging in battle and punching each other in the faces but it really stuck out in evolution where the violence (or real life violence) was toned right down. Maybe it was because they were mostly kids but i think it should have been more.

saying this, there is more to wolverine than killing and seeing him stab and happy slash people all the time, like he did in the last two x-men films can actually become very tiresome very quickly.

I think there is nothing wrong with leaving scratches on his opponents and i think he should only pop them on peeps like sabretooth with healing abilities or really nasty dudes like ogun.

Great drawing! I would love to see Logan looking like this in a a cartoon - no mask and no spandex costume! :D:up:
I loved the issues Kaare did for UltiX.

Wow, if those were the designs for the characters i probably wouldnt watch it.

This is the only picture I could find online about the new Wolverine cartoon.

why does rogue have a lesbian haircut.

it looks like wolverine's relationships in this team are solely going to be with the younger members of the team with some characters getting de-aged

maybe the older members of the team will get cameos...

this seems like evolution all over again but centred more on wolverine, i don't know whether this is a good thing or not.

i say they should have stuck with evo and done some future-esque storylines.

id prefer wolverine alone.... for a cartoon

like samurai jack...

ultimately, the wolverine show would be based on a hugh amount of guest stars coming in every week.

HA, looks as tall as Pat Ewing :p

I hope (in vain, I know) that the tone of the show won't be too superheroic, but more wolvie vs mafia and ninjas and stuff... trying to get some peace, but haunted by problems...

Dammit, I miss Evo.

No matter how you felt about the series, you can't deny that the last two seasons were amazing. And the finale left the show open for more "mature" episodes (Days of the Future Past, Phoenix, Magneto as headmaster, etc.)

Anybody wanna see specific heroes guest spot?

We can expect the fights to be even more watered down than this.

the problem with evo was that when it was good, it was ****ing awesome. unfortunately when it was poor, it was pretty damn poor.

however its story arcs were probably on par if not better than some of the story arcs from the 90s x-men show.

the only real problem for me was the toned down violence especially seeing what the production company could do with it with films like the ultimate avengers.

if only they had made fury consistently white or black in both of them, they could have done an excellentt x-men future and avengers cross over, most likely similar to ultimate war, it'd be great.

In case you haven't noticed, EVERYTHING dealing with X-men on a screen is focused on Wolvie. Whether it be cartoons(X-men TAS & Evolution), video games, and movies.

So would it be that big of a deal if they had OTHER mutants get some air time on a Wolverine based program?

This show will probably focus on him going on solo adventures and running into the other mutants along the way. They won't follow him around, but will just have one episode where they are fighting with OR against Logan.

But the main plot of the show will remain Wolverine trying to accomplish goal or find answers to ultimately complete his objective.
