One thing I didnt really see mentioned is that this is thefirst film to have 2 mutants duking it out in aerial combat.
I kinow Storm and Mags flew/hovered in various scenes but they never to my knowledge fought an airborne opponent.

Banshees vs Angel air fight really made me feel like it was an comic fight come to life.

Thoughts?

Well, there aren't that many characters who can really fly naturally. But, the fight was well done. Though in real life, they would have probably been gunned down by the hundreds of sailors standing around.

Well their fight was simple

But Banshee owned that scene. Angel Salvadore was boring.

Why? They werent attacking the soldiers?
They looked like they were astonished... First time any of then saw mutants

I am also pretty sure that even the soldiers noticed that Banshee was trying to save them

Sometimes even eye witness accounts can provide wrong information especially if that information is colluded with alot of people (ie: an army base). I remember a university did a test where they faked a bag snatching in front of a group of people and got one person to hide in the group and add false information and when the group went in to give their individual testamonies they actually recycled the wrong information, just because they were told.

It's why witnesses are usually asked not to talk to people about events prior to a trial.

So even though the soldiers may have seen Banshee helping them, all it takes is one person saying, "No he was in on it too". Also the fact that Banshee is a mutant would count against him.

Soldiers will do as they are commanded. That's their job. So going against the grain I'm sure during that time was unlikely.

Also, did anyone else think that the quick scene of angel chasing banshee when they fly pass a battleship looked cheap or cheesy? It was one brief scene, but it seemed odd because of the lack of relative motion.

Yeah, and she was doing that acting face, the one that you know the director was going like "You're looking for someone, try to find THEM, Zoe, Zoe, listen to me, try to look for them...ZOE!!", but I'll forgive that just because of the rush to get the movie done, and because some of the Banshee flying was done remarkably perfect.
