I wasn't aware Kasich had such support.

It's a new thread.

More people should vote...eventually.

Semantic question: Why are they all last names except Hillary?

I wasn't aware Kasich had such support.

He doesn't. NH was his one and only hurrah! So I don't even seriously consider him viable. With him discounted of that group I'd go Trump easily. Especially since they guy I had been supporting just dropped out or it looks like he will(Christie).

I'd consider Kasich about as viable as Rubio right now. Who is about as viable as Bush.

So that should tell you everything you need to know.

I voted for Kasich even though I know he has no chance. He's still the best choice for me. Someone who's been there and done it, who isn't blowing smoke up everyone's ass, someone who has an actual proven record, someone that's worked across the aisle, someone that's balanced the budget, someone that doesn't project hatred among his constituents.

Kasich for me. I'm hoping he can ride momentum from the NH placing to edge out Bush in South Carolina. He's a much more viable candidate than Jeb, who is now apparently giving up on ditching his name and is using Dubya to back him in a new ad.

Because of Bill. There isn't another Sanders or Cruz or Kasich. Hillary is in the same boat as Jeb, called by their first names to separate them from their predecessors.

I think Kasich has potential. He's not Jeb or Rubio. He is a likable enough guy, as far as I have seen anyway. He doesn't grab headlines, but he's consistent, both in his debate performance, and in his positions. He actually has experience, and a record he doesn't want to divert people's attention from like Rubio.

Also he's not Jeb.

I feel that Hillary is more competent than Sanders but don't expect her to win. If only Al Gore Jr. or Joe Biden were running for President.

Me expecting her to win is the only reason I voted for her. Bernie would get murdered in a general election against anyone other than Trump and Cruz and even then it'd probably be close.

So you're saying you don't expect Trump or Cruz to be nominated?

Nice call on the vote btw.

^ I wonder why Sanders doesn't use that against Hillary in the debates. On Thursday night, I was really getting sick and tired of Hillary constantly trying to bait him on Obama. It's such a silly, cheap shot and it forces the discussion on Obama to be more positive than it deserves to be. I hope Sanders just goes out and says it "Madam Secretary, if you want to bring up President Obama, then my platform of a political revolution is much closer to 2008 Obama's message of "Hope and Change" than the incremental improvements offered by yours" or something like that. Words can't describe how much I utterly despise Hillary, especially now with her trying to act as Obama's successor and the prevailing vote bank politics now preventing any conversation on the failures and disappointments of Obama's time in office.

John Kasich is by far and large the best choice on both sides in this election and could win the general election. Deep down the American people want someone closer to the center. But no, the people will be forced to choose between extremism one way, conservative or progressive and it's disgusting. Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders will be a disaster in the long term for this country.

I would vote for Sanders, but in reality I probably won't vote since my vote doesn't really mean anything anyways.

I'll probably find myself voting for Gary Johnson, again. Because I cannot support Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton, or Donald Trump. All four are unique pieces of ***** that will hurt and/or divide the country in their own way.

I really do feel the closer to the center the better, at this point in time. All the extremism in this election really freaks me out. I really fear for this country if it's Trump vs Sanders.

Even if Sanders miraculously won the presidency, he'd most likely only be a one-term president, wouldn't get anything done really, and we might be dealing with one of the extreme right candidates in the oval office in the near future due to how much continued resentment and animosity will be bubbling over on the right.

If the general came down to Hillary vs Kasich (another long shot), I'm honestly not sure who I'd vote for, but I'd feel a heck of a lot less scared.
