I hope it’s Max Mercury. Just because I love that name lol. It’s so pulpy and cheesy. I was unfamiliar with the character before but I’m interested now. Plus it’s a cool way to get a speedster involved while avoiding the Flash for a little while.

Well looks like WB and Discovery are basically just wiping out the merger completely. Pretty much divide along the old lines except Discovery gets CNN and TNT Sports International if I read right.

Unfortunately per Variety:

As previously announced, Warner Bros. will be led by president and CEO David Zaslav, currently president and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery. The TV-centric Discovery Global will be headed by Gunnar Wiedenfels, currently CFO of Warner Bros. Discovery, who will serve as president and CEO.

David Zaslav is a big part of why we got the new DC Universe with James Gunn and Peter Safran at the helm.

Warner Bros. is also having a resurgence this year thanks to back to back hits such as Minecraft, Sinngers, Final Destination Bloodlines, F1 The Movie and Superman.

As controversial as his tenure may be, Zaslav is breathing some new life into the studio after Kevin Tsujihara almost ran it into the ground first and AT&T was turning it mostly into a streaming company.

I'm not particularly fond of Zaslav, but credit where credit is due. The man decided to go all in on theatrical (and DC) and 2025 has been a nice showcase of it.

Understandable he wants to leave a gap between the previous versions and his own.

Flash and Aquaman ended the DCEU. Dont need them for the moment.

This James Gunn DCU is still incomprehensible . Just illogical. Since DCEU doesnt transform itself into DCU

DCEU still exist, with batAffleck becoming batClooney. How Peacemaker and Waller from Dceu can be integrated into Dcu

Gunn has made it pretty clear whats cannon and whats not. Let's not pretend he hasn't. It's not that hard lol.
