Don't read comics but watch a lot of Justice league series on Netflix and john Stewart is the way to go. His ex military background treating the league members as soldiers makes for interesting stories

I'm cool with Hal and Barry but what I'd do if I had it my way is have them end up in a parallel universe where they team up with John (maybe Kyle and save John for a GL Corp movie)and Wally against a common threat(s). For some reason, Gorilla Grodd seems like a good fit for this at least in part. Sinestro and Zoom or even Power Ring and Johnny Quick could be incredible too. The latter could serve as the perfect introduction to a Justice League vs Crime Syndicate sequel.

It'd be cool if they used a more neutral villain though. Maybe they could set up both Sinestro and Reverse Flash for future use in solo movies from both GL and Flash.

In total Warner Brothers have made 17 DC movies. Marvel studios have made 9.

What the person should've wrote is WB is way behind in adapting DC properties to the big screen compared to the amount of Marvel character properties adapted

Maybe a galactic menace Green Lantern is fighting that is after the Speed Force?

This should be an interesting film WITH the right people attached. I wouldn't mind Hal or John. Maybe it could start off with Barry and Hal in the beginning but the threat captures/defeats them causing Wally and Rayner/Stewart to take on their mentors' mantles.
