But seriously i don't think most families are truly racist when it comes to other races, i think it's like you said, they feel as though the 'bloodline will somehow be changed. I think the big problem Blacks and Whites have with their family members dating each other is that because our features are so vastly different, compared to other races, it becomes highly visable when grand children start to come from such relationships, and probably feel a little embarrassed around their own social circles when it comes time to explain the different complexion of their new family member.

well...because people are conditioned by culture to view certain looks as not attractive...for istance as a black woman, i feel i am often over looked because i do not posess so called "soft" and "feminine" features such as a petite frame, petite features, straight/wavy hair, fairer skin, thinner lips, larger eyes...etc

It's not necessarily racism if you find someone of another race unattrractive. However if everybody of said race is ugly in a person's eyes that would make me wonder...
