Did anyone notice that the latest version of iTunes that was updated, got a copy of Safari for Windows pushed down with it?

Safari worked pretty well when I played with it, but I am a little unhappy that it was installed without my approval.

Interesting. Didn't know that they'd bundled those two programs together on the Windows side. I'd have to see the install process to see how they went about it before I made a judgment call on whether that was kosher or not (i.e. did they warn people or give them the option to not install Safari).

i wondered why i got a pop saying there was an update for safari

which is strange cause i did a check and safari isn't installed on my system

I actually saw that update for Safari yesterday. I searched around and found that Safari was on my system.

I'm using it right and actually liking it for the most part.

Actually its not bad at all...
Might be another substitution for IE.

But I still dont like they pushed it down

I unchecked it before it downloaded it for me.

It was tricky though. Would have normally just checked it on through as a normal update.
