Revenge of the Fallen For Transformers Geeks: general explications

Like title said, i'm interested to know more about the Transformers stuff seen in this movie.

For example: How many kind of TF exists? Prime, Seeker, ecc. and what are differences between them? A Prime type can be turned on only by the matrix spark? If a Prime type like The Fallen and a Seeker type like Jetfire can use the space-bridge teleport, are Optimus able to do the same? There's any reference on Unicron in the movie?

Well theres alot of different Transformers canon. What you saw in the movie is all made just for the movie pretty much.

In there parts of canon. Prime is just a word for the guy in charge. It's a rank nothing more. The matrix that they hold in their chest can do cool things. Like in the G1 cartoon it was the only way to beat Unicron. In the comics, and the show no one can make a space bridge. You'd have to build the bridge to use it. So only in the movie can Jetfire or the fallon use such things. And I didn't catch a reference to Unicron.

i really didnt like that jetfire could teleport. this power would make the Fallen very special and stronger.

you are maybe asking yourself then why could Jetfire teleport. its pretty simple. they needed to go to Egypt. how would you do that with the cars? boom jetfire can teleport and voila.

From what I understand, all of the original 13 could teleport, but for some reason, the later "offspring" did not have this ability due to the fact that it was unstable and could blow them up.

The way i look at it is that the Fallen can teleport and Jetfire used some type of space bridge technology.

when Jetfire sees OP he is happy to see a Prime and then says that it would be a honor for him if he would use hes parts.

jetfire is not a prime IMO. the only reason he has the teleport power is because they didnt spend a lot of time writting this movie.

LOL!!!! Thats true.

To me Jetfire was like a mystical ancient warrior. And as such, he had his own magic tricks and technology that the new robots didnt have. As weird as the teleportation was, it gave Jetfire that mystical aura.

Jetfire also knows all that stuff because he is so old. And that brings me to Prime. Had no idea who the Fallen was but he is supposed to be a descendant of the primes. Shouldnt he know stuff?
And when Jetfire tells the story he isnt there to hear it, but in the end he says "they were your brothers too". How did he know all that?

Oh and btw, how did Simmons drive Bee in the desert when Bee wasnt with them when they teleported?

I may be just stupid here but, I thought that Jetfire was one of the 13. I know he was a Seeker in the movie, but does that rule him out as a Prime? I know Prime is a leadership status, so.... ?

And in regards to Sam = a Prime.... I might have just heard wrong when I watched the movie. It seemed to me that when Sam came out of "death", and he brought OP back to life, that was when he commented on him being a "living Prime" because he was granted the privilege of using/having the Matrix because he was such an upstanding leader-like Human.

Now i'm really confused.....

i dont remember very good but did we even see Fallen teleport? was it obvious enough? he could just land next to OP for the general public.

Can somebody explain why Sam's parents had to be abducted? I found no reason other than to have them in the desert in the end to cry over Sam's death for dramatic effect.

I didnt see them use the parents though. Nobody knew about it. Not Sam at least.

And did anyone catch what soundwave said to Sam's mom on the phone? I couldnt make that out. It was hilarious though. A huge menacing decepticon, freaking Soundwave himself calling you on your mobile. I would be like "**** yeah soundwave!!!"

I can't remember when this was mentioned but, Jetfire was able to teleport because he was a "Seeker", his mission in the past was to teleport across the galaxy to fine stars for harvesting...

Remember when Rampage spits them out and Sam starts fake bargaining with him. His parents for the "Matrix of Leadership" while Bumblebee got prepared to ambush Rampage from the back.

Weather the parents called out to him or not, ur saying the robots couldn't have just picked him up???? seriously... would have been better if they used the Parents to bribe Sam to come easy or they would kill them. makes more sense.

I'm not saying anything. I'm just giving the explanation the movie gave. Not once do I state that I think this is reasonable or logical in any way.

So before you start throwing accusations, I'd recommend you to scan over the previous posts before belligerently jumping in accusing people of stating a certain belief over a plot point when I haven't written such a thing.

Because he overloaded from the entire thing, but a shard had the same effect that the Allspark's presence near technology did. It created life.
