Since AI is dominating the internet, more than half of the content that is made today is AI-generated. It's chaos out there.
I'm just starting a digital detox. I'm staying away from social media and crap-related apps. Trying to get back into the real world
Old school forums like these are like the last island of human interaction.
I'm happy to be here.
 
I know what you mean. It's hard to know what's real or not and some posters just love to troll everyone else. :(
 
People are returning to old tech like iPods, Polaroids, Nintendo DSes, and flip phones just to get away from it.
 
That's what I'm doing lately. I stopped scrolling on my usual places, I deleted apps, deleted bookmarks, I'm gonna restore my old camera and my iPod is up and running (it never left, actually). I need to get some of my life back.
Social media became just media. There's nothing social about the current internet.

It might actually get us closer together in real life, if I wanna stay on the positive side. Connection with other people and with analogue artefacts. Until there's a balance between both.

It's not bad when communicating with people you know in real life. Something about being able to behave badly with impunity brings out the worst in people.
