Do you not have windows xp? In which case you can use movie maker.

i have XP and windows media player 11 beta 1 and whenever i press Prt Scr it prints all the screen but there is a black rectangle where the image should be.
ive tried different methods to get it to work but it doesn't work.

All versions of WinXP have Movie maker. You need to import the file into there, and that'll do screen prints.
