Somethings been bugging me about the x-men series... Its ended the first trilogy is gone, singer approached for x4...

wait a second, trilogy ended singer appraochhed for x4. It took 20 years between the making of the first and prequil trilogy of star wars. So what exactly is going on here?

The trouble is The Era 00's has become the era of comic book hero's and big screen movies of that nature. This has only been big because every era has its thing. 60's for hippies and drugs, 70's for disco and flairs, 80's well dawn the age of punk and techno elluminus colours. Era of the computer games too... 90's era of action, curbing the fasion and forging a new tomorrow... but the 00's was left blank. And so they merged several small phases into one...known as the comic book movie... i define the Naughties 00's as 5 key factors... The Metro Lifestyle, Comic Book Vigilanti, Fantasy/Adventure, Heavy Metal/Student Rock and Internews spawning all we created the era of the "comic book hero" Or i like to call it the Golden Age

anyway my point being is its like the end of 2006 they have three years only to make as many comic book stories before we deem it as past tense. and the trend of "the Tenth" Comes into play.

So there pushing for X-Men 4 cause they know its a cash cow. Wolverine we will see in late 2007 but im willing to bet we will see X-Men 4 before Magneto.

interesting- i agree the novelty is going to wear off but it is up to these comic book francises to adapt to what is current. it doesn't matter if these guys are wearing spandex its the tone or drama and themes that will keep them blockbusters

Oh no everything has a begining and an end... It wont last for much longer, ive noticed a few people getting bored with the whole superhero franchise already, there just not interested in anything new, X-Men and Spiderman seem to be the front runners and i doubt Batman after the Dark Knight will continue.

I mean sure Wolverine will get a few hits, it wont be as big as x-men, but there will be alot of fans going to see it, Magneto i cant see the point in. its too artsy i cant see which market this movie would fit in, its war its superheros if it isnt Captian America who cares.

Personnel i know of alot of hate towards the fantastic four franchise, it was too kiddyfied for fans to enjoy and under developed. Doom was good and it was three of the right cast members. Now dont get me wrong but Jessica ALBA is wrong for the part, im a big fan of her but not in fantastic four, and as for Chris evans he got the cockyness of Human tourch but i just didnt feel the character was him. Should of been someone like matt damon.

FF won't be as big a hit as fox thinks- i doubt it will make more than the original. Alot of people did not like it and will not be returning. the main attraction to the movie was the human torch who was spot on. As for the dark knight i think the dark tone will carry through and it will succeed. I also think a new x men movie would succeed. However i agree with the magneto idea. it will be far too artsy and i don't know who they could cast as him. the one i would like to see is a supergirl movie to test the superhero waters

Women Superhero's dont always go down as well, its rare but some become legends but its rare to make them great on big screen... The only possible female stand alone film would be a Ms Marvel or Rogue film, well Ms Marvel lets face it was trying to mimic the Wonder Woman as female heroine, But didnt work, Rogue movie would work, but she would have to have her powers. What you want from a Rogue movie is pretty much the anikin skywalker kind of story although in reverse, Someone who was cast a freak but do you stand with the good or the bad?
