How many think Hodder shoudl be braught back one last time as Jason. they basically said Hodder wasn't in Freddy Vs Jason 1 cause he was too much bigger then the guy wh played Freddy.
If there gonna bring in someone like Micheal Myers or Leatherface i think Hodder would be key and it would kick this new Friday The 13ths ass.
face it Hodder was very good at killing people funny wise. He was zombie like yes but he has thsi style that would so be cooler then smaller Jason and who wants a Jason who is smart we want a simple minded jason who kills anyone on sight.

Eh, Hodder paid his due, I have no real interest in seeing him return.

Hodder would be awesome to see in Freddy vs. Jason 2. Howver, that would be the only one I'd like to see him in since the new Jason series has Derek Mears palying a more human Jason.

Huh? Why are we talking about FvJ 2 anyway....it isnt gonna happen. Unless you know something I dont...

Let Hodder go guys. Move on. His time as Jason came and went. He was a great Jason for the films he made, but it's time to let go now. Hodder's doing other work these days and though many feel he was cheated out of Jason in FvJ, he was and I was disappointed to...that's just how things work sometimes. Derek Mears is Jason now and he works well as Jason in the remake and I am more interested in Mears as Jason than I am of Hodder right now.

Freddy vs Jason 2 should be a crossover of the reimagined Freddy and Jason.

Besides Hodder is a *****e.

Yeah, it's not happening. With the remakes taking place now, we'll have to wait 20 years down the road for a remake of Freddy Vs Jason....or at least 10 because they could just cut to the chase with the remake. And seriously, why waste time and energy with a Vs of these two again? We already had Freddy Vs Jason, do we need to see it again? No.

I'm fine with the one. Its a fun movie...and better then AvP...or...R...ew.

The first one was garbage and basically a King Kong vs. Godzilla rip-off. Hopefully New Line keeps each character in its own franchise.

correction....Kane Hodder is a full head shorter than Robert Englund....that's why he wasn't used for the film....Ken Kirzinger, who's a stuntman by trade, played Jason

Yes, because I remember very much Freddy and Jason growing huge and tearing buildings apart in their final battle.

It has nothing to do with their height lol. It's basically the execution of the story.

Godzilla/Freddy = villain
Jason/Kong = good guys

Kong = on an island not doing anything until he's disturbed.
Jason = resting/dead at Crystal Lake until he's disturbed.

Freddy = evil bastard who wants nothing more than to kill and cause destruction
Godzilla = wants nothing more than to cause destruction

1st battle between superpowers...

Godzilla kicks Kong *ss and fries him with radioactive breathe (characters in movie sympathize with Kong)
Freddy kicks Jason's ass and turns him into a little kid blah blah (characters in movie sympathize with Jason)

Characters in both movies figure out..."hey, let's get these 2 monsters together and maybe the lesser of the two evils (Jason/Kong) will kill the more evil monster (Freddy/Godzilla).

Characters drug and transport Jason/Kong to get rid of more evil nemesis (Freddy/Godzilla)

2nd battle between superpowers...

Characters cheer/help the good guys (Jason, Kong)

Jason "the good guy" comes out the water as the victor and he's back home on Crystal Lake.
Kong "the good guy" comes out the water as the victor and he's heading back home to his island.

And the last similarity. Kong did as much damage as Godzilla but he was still the good guy in the movie similar to the way Jason killed people just like Freddy but he was still the good guy when it was all said and done. Too many similarities in both movies to ignore.

With remakes being everywhere these days I can honestly see Freddy vs. Jason remade sometime in the next 10 years.

I'm not pretending to be a big fan of either character or anything although I did enjoy the new Friday but supposing a new Vs. movie did happen one day would it maybe not be better to do Jason vs Michael? 1) cos FvJ has been done and 2) would a supernatural in origin Freddy go with the new more human Jason?

I suppose you need one of the villains to be able to communicate though.. Don't know about anyone else but I quite liked the idea from that Jason vs. Creeper fan script.

yeah i think the Creeper would be a great ina versus movie. I know it be stupid but Creeper vs Saw be kind wierd but fun. Imagine the Creeper getting into one of Saws games and lets see his traps work on someone more his monstrous level.

I could see them taking a different approach to this FvJ2. They'll probably wait until Freddy gets his remake and then possibly wait until each one has a sequel.
So maybe in 10 years, lol we may see something or depends on how Nightmare remake does too?
Kane Hodder will always be Jason and yes he got screwed on the FvJ deal, but thems the breaks...

Kane Hodder wasn't in the series until Part 7....so the statement that he will always be Jason makes no sense because, he really wasn't....4 other guys were Jason before him...

If they do have FvsJ part 2 I'd like to see them use Derek Mears . It doesn't matter though because I really don't see this happening.

Well ain't but one Robert Englund and he's pushin 50 if not already, so by the time someone triest to push this trash again, and I hope not, he'll be one old assed demon.

If Hollywood wants to do it just go all out and remake 'Destroy all Monsters' w/ the teen killers.

Hey hitmany is Mike Meyers Rodan or Mothra?

You know it's one thing to replace someone under a mask that doesn't speak but I don't see how they are going to do it with Freddy.

Hatchet is a good series for him to go with. It is more classic Friday the 13th than anything from Old Freddy vs. Stuntman-Jason.

Didn't I read somewhere on this site that they're adapting the Freddy vs Jason vs Ash comics to film?

You know it's one thing to replace someone under a mask that doesn't speak but I don't see how they are going to do it with Freddy.

Use a stunt actor dressed as Freddy for the action scenes & use inserts of Robert dressed as Freddy for minor things or when he needs to speak.

their isnt going to be a freddy vs jason 2. Its been known for awhile now since jason just was recently rebooted in the film universe and same thing is going to be happening with freddy next yr.

Its been in the works for like forever. They saif the same thing right after the first one. and that was 2003. I doubt we will ever get a sequel and if we do it'll be ten years later. Which is how long it took the first one to be made.
