Fright Night remake

YIKES! David Tennant looks like a real bad-ass in this! And I loved him on Doctor Who to begin with!

Looking good. No house, no need for an invitation. ;)

sort of had my doubts, but that new trailer with actual footage of Peter Vincent has me sold! David Tennant looks great

At least there will be SOMETHING to see in August.

Looks like we've got a new site for this:

I'm taking part in the competition, and I need your help, guys! It's VERY simple! Please share this link with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, and elsewhere! The more clicks the link gets, the more points I get towards winning a trip to Comic-Con (the prize for this first week)! Please help me out and spread the word! It's not spam, I promise!

^^ In 3D, lol. This really looks like a very fun remake/twist on the original. That's what it should be.

I think it looks great!
'Fright Night' is one of the few horror films that I think actually needs a remake (It's a good movie, but hasn't aged well), and what I've seen so far definitely looks promising. The cast looks good, too. One of the problems i had with the first one was how loud, over- the- top, and obnoxious Evil Ed was, so the fact that the remake has him played by Christopher Mintz- Plasse (Who is usually funny in a more quiet, subtle way) definitely seems refreshing, and David Tennant looks like he'll be an excellent reqorking of the Peter Vincent character.
I can't wait!

I watched the original a last week and all the way through it i kept saying to myself that Roddy McDowall looked like an older David Tennant. Has anyone else thought this??

That sneak peek just took this movie further away from the original. Characters have changed enormously, the plot has changed, the genre!

Everyone of Charlie's friends and and family immediately believe that Jerry is a vampire, we got the new Evil telling charlie that he thinks his neighbor is a vampire! Secondly, everyone is involved in combating Jerry, minus his watchdog pal. Explosions! Crossbows! and motorcyles flying through air! Yeah, I'd say there is more emphasis on action this time around. The basics to the original plot was: you find out your new neighbor is a vampire, he knows you know, and no one will believe you because vampires are not supposed to be real. At least the old Jerry tried to be discrete, but if this new one has to tear up a whole town when one person found him out, then that's just ridiculous. One could argue that the old characters could have been utilized more, but making them all mini Van Hellsings is not the way to go.
