Well my friends, I'm back again with a mod to one of my figs. This time its Face Off 2-pack Wolverine (the variant version). I decided to do the metal claw mod on him because my FO variant Wovie had the most bent up claws of any Wolvie fig I've ever had. Here's a action shot I took with him with one claw modded vs. Omega Red.

I think Hasbro should make Wolvies Claws out of the same stuff they used for the Signature Series Wolvie Claws...his claws are perfect and do not bend.

Never Liked Omega red......See if it's Possible to get Wolvie up there without using the Base.....I've done it once with Ock and Spidey...it was tough as heckfire and I've never done it again......

Here's a better look at them:

Basically took the method Jin thought up by using the flat side of boby pins and sanding away the coating, clipping the ends at an angle and modding them into the silver claw openings on the top side of his hand. I took off the silver claw opening and cut out the slits for the claw ends to fit in with a x-acto blade. Just used some super glue for now but once I have the second set of claws ready I'll set them in with apoxie sculpt to give the bond extra strength. For right now its cool with the superglue but the apoxie sculpt is the way to go for a strong bond. Here's more pics:

Never Liked Omega red......See if it's Possible to get Wolvie up there without using the Base.....I've done it once with Ock and Spidey...it was tough as heckfire and I've never done it again......

I could but I don't want the Wolvie falling and f***in' up the claws already. Plus the glue wasn't fully dry.

Seems to work....From what I've heard its a really simple mod...congrats....I've never tried it...........I guess I'm a naturalist when it comes to my figs.

And now a taste of my Bat-stuff. Here's the bookshelf I have in my computer room that has damn near nothing but figs. This is the top of the bookshelf naturally, the middle shelf has my comic Hellboy/BPRD figs and The Goon figs plus zombies. Those pics are on the first page. The next to bottom shelf has TPBs and a few HCs and the bottom has my Sentinels lined up in rows of two.

As for Omega he was available because as you'll see in my HAves/Wants soon he's one of the figs I'm putting up for grabs. I have two of him anyway so bleh. So I just used him because he was the closest Wolvie villain in arm's reach. Once he has both sets of claws I'll have final pics of him vs. FO Sabretooth.

This has Crimson Mist Batman and Gotham by Gaslight Batman side by side with a barren tree behind them I got from a Spawn fig. Next to them is my MOC 1st App Batman.

In this pic is Red Son Batman with the UnMasked Batman/Bruce Wayne and Dark Knight Returns Batman. Behind them are MOC Kingdom Come Batman and the 13" Collector Batman.

On the next shelf I have more loose DCDs.

Here I have some of Batman's rogues such as Killer Croc and Mad Hatter with Bane and Black Mask behind them. Then its the lovely Harley Quinn being grasped by her man the one and only Joker. Joker is a minor mod, he's the Hush Joker from neck down with the head from the Unmasked Joker/Red Hood figure. Behind them is Man-Bat with Penguin and Two-Face. And yeah, thats Deathstroke back there since he's not a hog for the spotlight.

Here iare the only two busts I happen to have right now, both from the Women of DC Universe line. Its Harley Quinn and Catwoman. Nice.

And lastly on the shelf is Batman and a few allies. Its Nightwing and Huntress with Supes in the back. This Supes is from the Superman of All Ages Boxset which is almost identical to the Hush Supes BUT he doesn't have the small ivy strands from Poison Ivy hanging on his neck nor the red eyes and tattered cape. This is the true Jim Lee Supes without all that. Commish Gordon is now slighty behind Nightwing, these pics were taken before I got him.

Its all good. Once I mod a Brown Wolvie custom I wanna make outta an extra AXM Wolvie I have I'll have a nearly identical pose with them.

Yeah, they stand out nice. Plus black/gray tones are my fav so when I saw the choice of wood vs black wood I chose the black. Its only natural for me.

I actually tried it like that but it just kinda looked off. So I preferred it to be the way it is so it wouldn't be so distracting. Thanks though
